Country music will be a huge part of Hallmark Channel‘s Thanksgiving Weekend programming with the premiere of A Grand Ole Opry Christmas.

Nikki DeLoach and Kristoffer Polaha lead the new movie, set at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The movie was filmed at the iconic concert venue and Hallmark hosted the Countdown to Christmas launch event there this year too!

A Grand Ole Opry Christmas follows Nikki as the daughter of a late country music icon, who gave up her music career dreams after her father died in a tragic accident. 30 years later, she’s asked to represent him at the Opry’s centennial celebration and she gets magically transported back to 1995, where she gets to spend precious time with her father and reconnect with her musical side.

Also starring in the move are Rob Mayes as Jett Wade, plus Eliza Hayes Maher, Luke Benward, Sharon Lawrence, and James Denton.

In addition to the big cast, there are so many country music stars who make cameo appearances in the movie to perform on the Opry stage!
