Fallout Season 2 premieres today (Tuesday, December 16) at 9 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

Based on the beloved video game series, Fallout is “the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them above.”

The new season takes place in the aftermath of Season 1’s finale, taking viewers on a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.

The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner.

As fans start tuning in for the second season, many are already wondering if the show will be continuing on for another season.

The main cast of the Fallout television series is on the red carpet in Los Angeles!

Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones all came together to visit the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures for the season 2 premiere on Monday night (December 8) ahead of the show’s Prime Video return.

They were also joined by series newcomers Kumail Nanjiani, Macaulay Culkin, and Justin Theroux. Kumail and Macaulay are playing new characters, while Justin is taking over the role of Mr. House from Rafi Silver. The pair took a sweet photo together.

The Eternals star brought along his wife Emily V. Gordon while Justin invited his wife Nicole Brydon Bloom.

Ron Perlman, who famously voices almost all of the game introductions, has been confirmed to join the show’s sophomore season, too, so of course he came out to the premiere with wife Allison Dunbar.

Fallout season 2 premieres on December 17.

FYI: Walton wore Tom Ford and a David Yurman ring. Kyle was wearing Zegna.

Prime Video has just released several first look images at season 2 of Fallout!

The upcoming season begins where the first season left off, following the characters as they venture across the desolate Mojave and into the ruins of a re-imagined New Vegas, a post-apocalyptic city.

Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner star.

No specific debut date was given, but Prime Video revealed that it will debut in December 2025.

Season 1 is currently available to stream on the platform. The first season landed on the streamer on April 10, 2024. It’s unclear if they’ll release all the episodes at once, like they did with season one, or if they’ll do a weekly release for season 2. Stay tuned!

We’ve got an update on the cast list for the second season of Fallout as filming gets under way!

After premiering on Prime Video earlier this year, the hit TV series, which is based on a popular video game series of the same name, was renewed in April. The show is expected to return with new episodes in 2026, and filming has already commenced.

This week, we got a very exciting update – the first photo of a cast member on set.

In honor of the occasion, we did some digging to figure out what the cast list would look like when Fallout‘s second season premieres. While the fate of one character from the second season is unclear, it does appear that many other familiar faces are returning.
