Saturday Night Live is back with it’s 51st season on air!

The NBC late night sketch show first debuted exactly 50 years ago TODAY, on October 11, 1975, from creator Lorne Michaels, who still executive produces and is in charge to this day.

Several celebrities have become household names after getting their start on Saturday Night Live and have gone on to have greatly successful careers.

Over the past 50 years, SNL has had over 150 comedians as cast members on the show, from the first ever cast including Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and more, to the stars of today, which include Colin Jost, Bowen Yang, Michael Che and Kenan Thompson.

If you missed the news, Saturday Night Live is making it’s debut in the UK.

We are looking back over the SNL‘s storied history to see which stars have done the best for themselves, and ranked them based on how rich they are using their estimated net worth. The top earner beats the closest competition by nearly $150 million!

Bill Hader and Ali Wong are enjoying a night out with some fellow comedians!

The couple stepped out for dinner with Bill‘s former Saturday Night Live co-star Fred Armisen and his wife Riki Lindhome along with Martin Short on Tuesday night (October 7) at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif.

As they left the restaurant, Bill and Fred were seen play arguing for the photographers as the rest of the group laughed.

They then all hugged and said their goodbyes before going their separate ways.

If you didn’t know, Bill and Fred shared the screen on SNL from 2005 until 2013 when they both left the show.

Bill recently explained why he skipped out on attending and participating in the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special, which took place earlier this year.

Deli Boys is coming back for a second season!

The exciting news was announced on Tuesday (August 26) by Hulu and Onyx Collective, with stars Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh and Poorna Jagannathan confirmed to return.

In addition, it was revealed that SNL alum Fred Armisen is joining the cast as a new series regular.

Jenna Ortega is putting her unique sense of style on display for Wednesday press in the Big Apple!

The 22-year-old actress was spotted in several looks while promoting season two of the Netflix series in New York City.

Jenna wore a black dress at the season two fan screening at the Paris Theater on Tuesday night (August 5). She was joined at the event by co-stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Fred Armisen, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, and Georgie Farmer.

Earlier in the day, Jenna wore a brown top and gray skirt while stepping out for press.

Jenna Ortega wears a daring look while attending the Wednesday season two premiere held at Central Hall, Westminster on Wednesday (July 30) in London.

The 22-year-old star and executive producer of the series wore an Ashi Studio look, featuring a “beige semi-sheer snakeskin-textured latex waist corset with back lacing, paired with a tight high-neck top and a long mermaid-cut skirt finished with asymmetrical ruffled trim.”

She was also joined at the premiere by her parents Natalie and Edward.

Also hitting the purple carpet were Jenna‘s co-stars Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, Luis Guzman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Isaac Ordonez, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Oliver Watson, Gracy Goldman, Joonas Suotamo and Fred Armisen, plus season two newcomers Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B Taylor, Kyle Hixon, Joanna Lumley and Frances O’Connor. In Wednesday season two, Wednesday Addams (Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.

Natasha Lyonne and Rian Johnson step out for the season two premiere of their show Poker Face held at Hollywood Legion Theater on Thursday (May 1) in Los Angeles.

The star and the creator of the mystery series posed in front of the Plymouth Barracuda that Natasha made her grand entrance in. If you watch the show, you’ll recognize the car as the one her character Charlie Cale drives!

Season two of the mystery-of-the-week series continues to follow Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
