Glenn Howerton admits he seriously considered walking away from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Earlier this week, the 49-year-old actor and co-creator joined co-stars Rob Mac, Kaitlin Olson, Charlie Day, and Danny DeVito on a panel to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary.
During the panel, Glenn explained why he almost quit as they began production on season 12, which aired back in 2017.

The 48-year-old It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor recently announced that he was professionally and legally changing his last name from “McElhenney” to just “Mac.”
While attending PaleyLive’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia 20th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday (July 1), Kaitlin, 49, shared her reaction to Rob changing his last name.

The trailer for the new season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has been released!
On Wednesday (June 19), FX debuted the trailer for the upcoming 17th season of the hit comedy series starring Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson, and Danny DeVito.
Here’s a brief synopsis: “In Season 17 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Gang craves money and parasitic social privileges. That’s been plain since 2005. But they’re also human beings. They crave love, respect, conditional freedom, constant adulation, histrionic amounts of attention, non-stop gratification, and unfiltered, slaphappy eroticism.”

The stars of the new Netflix series Sirens are out in the Big Apple for the world premiere!
Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, and Milly Alcock hit the carpet together for the premiere of their new limited series on Tuesday (May 20) at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Also in attendance were co-stars Glenn Howerton, Josh Segarra, and Felix Solis.
Here’s a synopsis: Devon (Fahy) thinks her sister Simone (Alcock) has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell (Moore). Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish island estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class.
