Paramount+ just dropped the brand new trailer for the upcoming Dexter: Resurrection!

Michael C Hall reprises his role as Dexter Morgan in the upcoming new series revival, which expands the growing Dexter universe, alongside the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin.

The trailer was unveiled on Saturday (May 31) at the CCXP Mexico City event, where Michael joined co-star David Zayas, showrunner Clyde Phillips and executive producer Scott Reynolds for a panel!

Michael C. Hall is hard at work on the upcoming Dexter spinoff series!

The 54-year-old Emmy-nominated and new co-star Peter Dinklage made their way out of a building as they filmed scenes for Dexter: Resurrection on Wednesday afternoon (May 29) in New York City.

Uma Thurman was also seen waiting outside of building to join Michael and Peter in filming a scenes.

Later that day, Michael was spotted filming with Jack Alcott, who will be playing his character Dexter’s son Harrison in the new series.

The new series is a follow-up to the previous limited series Dexter: New Blood and it takes place weeks after Dexter Morgan (Hall) takes a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right.

Showtime has dropped a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel series Dexter: Resurrection, which shows Michael C. Hall returning as his fan-favorite character.

The new series is a follow-up to the previous limited series Dexter: New Blood and it takes place weeks after Dexter Morgan (Hall) takes a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. But closure won’t come easy. When Miami Metro’s Angel Batista (David Zayas) arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast. As father and son navigate their own darkness in the city that never sleeps, they soon find themselves deeper than they ever imagined—and that the only way out is together.

The original series ran on Showtime for eight seasons from 2006 to 2013 and was followed by the limited series Dexter: New Blood, which ran for 10 episodes in 2021.

Dexter: Resurrection will debut with a two-episode premiere on the streaming service Paramount+ with Showtime on Friday, July 11. The Showtime channel will begin airing the season on Sunday, July 13 with episodes rolling out weekly.

The 53-year-old actor, who received six Emmy nominations for his work on Showtime’s Dexter, was seen filming scenes for the revival series Dexter: Resurrection on Monday (January 27) in New York City.

Michael was spotted in a car with James Remar, who plays Dexter’s late father Harry Morgan. Also spotted on set was Jack Alcott, who plays Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan. He made his first appearance in the New Blood series in 2021.

Dexter: Resurrection will seemingly pick up from where New Blood left off, though a storyline has not yet been announced.
