A star-studded crowd stepped out to attend the opening night performance of the musical Shucked at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre!

Sarah Hyland, Renee Rapp, Dylan Mulvaney, and Rachael Leigh Cook were among the stars who watched the Tony-winning musical on Wednesday night (August 20) at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.

Renee skipped the red carpet, but was seen entering the theatre with partner Towa Bird.

More celebs who attended the even included Jane Fonda, Jack McBrayer, Amanda Kloots, Stephanie Styles, Harvey Guillen, Julia Lester, Jason Alexander, Betty Who, Molly McCook, Frances Anderson, and Daniel Franzese.

Sarah posed on the carpet with Justin Mikita, who is married to her Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Jane went backstage and met with the cast, plus composer Brandy Clark and book writer Robert Horn.

Shucked is the laugh-out-loud Broadway musical set in the quirky little town of Cobb County, where the community faces a major crisis — their beloved corn crop is mysteriously dying. With her wedding hanging in the balance, bride-to-be Maizy sets out on a wild adventure to save her town and ends up in Tampa, where she crosses paths with a slick con man named Gordy.

KJ Apa is set to portray the late, great actor Jimmy Stewart in a new biopic, Jimmy.

The 28-year-old Riverdale star said in a statement, via Variety, “I have always been a huge James Stewart fan and feel so honored I get to bring his story to life. As someone from New Zealand, I’ve long admired that generation of American men who stood for patriotism, integrity, and a deep sense of duty. It is important to me to give back to a country that has given me so much, and what better way to do that than by honoring a man who served it with great honor.”

The cast will also include Jason Alexander as Louis B. Mayer, Max Casella as Frank Capra, Sarah Drew as Hedda Hopper, Julian Works as Second Lieutenant Martinez, and Jen Lilley as Stewart’s wife, Gloria.

Jimmy Stewart is famous for his Oscar-winning role in The Philadelphia Story and his performance in the iconic film It’s a Wonderful Life. He also fought in WWII.

Netflix has debuted a brand new trailer for Millie Bobby Brown‘s new movie!

The 21-year-old Stranger Things actress stars alongside Chris Pratt and Ke Huy Quan in the upcoming sci-fi action flick The Electric State, which will be released next week.

Here’s a synopsis: The Electric State is a spectacular adventure from the directors of Avengers: Endgame set in an alternate, retro-futuristic version of the 1990s. Millie stars as Michelle, an orphaned teenager navigating life in a society where sentient robots resembling cartoons and mascots, who once served peacefully among humans, now live in exile following a failed uprising. Everything Michelle thinks she knows about the world is upended one night when she’s visited by Cosmo, a sweet, mysterious robot who appears to be controlled by Christopher — Michelle’s genius younger brother whom she thought was dead. Determined to find the beloved sibling she thought she had lost, Michelle sets out across the American southwest with Cosmo, and soon finds herself reluctantly joining forces with Keats (Pratt), a low-rent smuggler, and his wisecracking robot sidekick, Herman (Anthony Mackie). Chris Pratt had his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger by his side for the premiere of his latest movie, The Electric State.

The longtime couple posed for photos together on the red carpet at the event on Monday night (February 24) at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Also in attendance were co-stars Millie Bobby Brown, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Woody Norman, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Alexander, and Marin Hinkle, as well as directors Anthony and Joe Russo.

The Electric State is the latest movie from The Russo Brothers, best known for their work on Marvel movies. The film follows Michelle (Brown), an orphaned teenager who traverses the American West in search of her younger brother. Joining her on the journey is a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter (Pratt).
