The first trailer for the Peaky Blinders movie is here!

Earlier this month, we found out the film was officially titled Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. It will hit Netflix on March 20.

Here’s a synopsis: Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby (Murphy) is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. Cillian Murphy is hard at work promoting his new movie!

The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actor along with co-stars Tracey Ullman and Jay Lycurgo attended a Q&A preview of their movie Steve presented by BFI on Wednesday (September 17) held at BFI Southbank in London, England.

Director Tim Mielants and screenwriter Max Porter were also in attendance.

Here’s the synopsis: “Set in the mid-90s, Steve is a reimagining of Max Porter‘s Sunday Times bestseller Shy. The film follows a pivotal day in the life of headteacher Steve (Murphy) and his students at a last-chance reform school amidst a world that has forsaken them. As Steve fights to protect the school’s integrity and impending closure, we witness him grappling with his own mental health. In parallel to Steve’s struggles, we meet Shy (Lycurgo), a troubled teen caught between his past and what lies ahead as he tries to reconcile his inner fragility with his impulse for self-destruction and violence.”

Steve will be released in theaters first on September 19 before hitting Netflix on October 3. Watch the trailer here!

Cillian Murphy is hitting the red carpet at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival!

The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actor and co-star Tracey Ullman stepped out for the premiere of their new movie Steve on Friday (September 5) held at Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Jay Lycurgo and Simbi Ajikawo along with director Tim Mielants and screenwriter Max Porter.

Here’s the synopsis: “Set in the mid-90s, Steve is a reimagining of Max Porter‘s Sunday Times bestseller Shy. The film follows a pivotal day in the life of headteacher Steve (Murphy) and his students at a last-chance reform school amidst a world that has forsaken them. The cast of the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie is starting to really shape up!

Netflix is producing a movie following the six seasons of the television show and production is starting soon.

Ahead of filming, it was just revealed that more stars from the series are set to return and reprise their roles, along with more new additions.

It has previously been announced that Cillian Murphy and Stephen Graham will be back, with Barry Keoghan and Rebecca Ferguson joining.
