Criminal Minds will be back for a 19th season on Paramount+ and we have some updates on changes coming to the cast for the next installment.

While this is the 19th season overall of the beloved CBS show, this is the four season of the Evolution continuation that airs on the streaming service.

Showrunner Erica Messer revealed over the summer that the upcoming season will focus on Adam Rodriguez‘s character.

“Alvez has a lot going on this season, and it really kicks off in the second episode of the season, which we’ve already shot. I think it’s his year to sort of grow and shine a little bit more. And Adam’s so good. I think there wasn’t a dry eye when we screened the second episode. And that’s all I’ll say,” Erica told TV Insider.

Dark Winds is coming back!

The AMC hit TV series was renewed for a third season by the network back in September of 2023.

Season 3 is expected to debut in early 2025.

“We started this journey with very high hopes for this series, given the remarkable source material and extraordinary creative team behind it, and it has delivered on every level,” said Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks.

The series, based on the Leaphorn & Chee novel series by Tony Hillerman, follows Leaphorn and Chee, two Navajo police officers in the 1970s Southwest that are forced to challenge their own spiritual beliefs when they search for clues in a double murder case.

It was a good night for so many stars at the 2024 Astra Film Awards on Saturday (January 6).

The event was hosted at the Biltmore Los Angeles, and a list of talented celebs walked the red carpet and accepted awards on the main stage!

Hailee Steinfeld took home the award for Best Voice-Over Performance for her work on Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, while Fantasia Barrino, Danielle Brooks and their The Color Purple castmates took home the win for Best Cast Ensemble.

Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie also slayed the competition. The blockbuster won Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Song. Margot Robbie tied with Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon) for Best Actress, and Ryan Gosling snagged Best Supporting Actor.

So many stars stepped out to attend The Art of Elysium’s 25th Anniversary HEAVEN Gala at The Wiltern on Saturday night (January 6) in Los Angeles.

The event, which comes at the beginning of awards season had more than 30 celebs on the guestlist. That includes Joe Manganiello, who returned to the red carpet with his new girlfriend Caitlin O’Connor.

Patrick Stewart steps out for the 2022 edition of Star Trek Day held at Skirball Cultural Center on Thursday (September 8) in Los Angeles.

The 82-year-old actor, who has played Jean-Luc Picard since 1987, was joined by his Picard co-stars Michelle Hurd and Jeri Ryan at the event, along with many other Star Trek franchise stars.

Wil Wheaton, the cast of Strange New Worlds - Rebecca Romijn, Celia Rose Gooding, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Melissa Navia, and Babs Olusanmokun – as well as Prodigy‘s Kate Mulgrew and Brett Gray, and Lower Decks‘ Noel Wells were also on hand.

One of the biggest piece of news from the annual event was the premiere date for the final season of Picard.

Debuting February 16, 2023, the final season will also reunite original stars of the Star Trek shows.

But, Patrick says, “it is not a reunion. It is an essential gathering of all of the most essential elements of ‘Star Trek: the Next Generation’ coming together to do what they do best.”

Patrick Stewart is joined by wife Sunny Ozell at the Star Trek: Picard premiere on Monday (January 13) at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, Calif.

The 79-year-old actor will be reprising his role as the iconic Jean-Luc Picard in the new series.

Fellow cast members at the premiere included Brent Spiner, Isa Briones, Jeri Ryan, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Evan Evagora, and Santiago Cabrera.

The upcoming 10-episode series follows Jean-Luc Picard (Stewart) as he moves into the next chapter of his life. As he faced retirement, he finds a reason to return to space when he believes a young woman is in “serious danger.”
