A star-studded crowd stepped out to attend the opening night performance of the musical Shucked at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre!

Sarah Hyland, Renee Rapp, Dylan Mulvaney, and Rachael Leigh Cook were among the stars who watched the Tony-winning musical on Wednesday night (August 20) at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles.

Renee skipped the red carpet, but was seen entering the theatre with partner Towa Bird.

More celebs who attended the even included Jane Fonda, Jack McBrayer, Amanda Kloots, Stephanie Styles, Harvey Guillen, Julia Lester, Jason Alexander, Betty Who, Molly McCook, Frances Anderson, and Daniel Franzese.

Sarah posed on the carpet with Justin Mikita, who is married to her Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Jane went backstage and met with the cast, plus composer Brandy Clark and book writer Robert Horn.

Shucked is the laugh-out-loud Broadway musical set in the quirky little town of Cobb County, where the community faces a major crisis — their beloved corn crop is mysteriously dying. With her wedding hanging in the balance, bride-to-be Maizy sets out on a wild adventure to save her town and ends up in Tampa, where she crosses paths with a slick con man named Gordy.

The new Off-Broadway play All Nighter is now open and plenty of stars stepped out to support the cast on opening night!

The show’s lead producer Ben Platt was joined by husband Noah Galvin and best friend Beanie Feldstein on the red carpet on opening night on Sunday night (March 9) at The Newman Mills Theater in The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space in New York City.

Cast members Kristine Froseth, Kathryn Gallagher, Julia Lester, Havana Rose Liu, and Alyah Chanelle Scott, plus understudies Tessa Albertson and Olivia Puckett also posed on the carpet.

All Nighter, written by Natalie Margolin and directed by Jaki Bradley, is playing a limited 12-week run through May 18. Here’s the synopsis: “It’s finals week at a small liberal arts college in rural Pennsylvania. A tight-knit group of roommates pull one last all-nighter to complete their final assignments. Holed up in an old ballroom, the pressure mounts as the truths that bind this group together are put to the test. What will be left when the sun rises?”

Other stars at the opening night event included Kathryn‘s father Peter Gallagher, Molly Bernard, Catherine Cohen, Gracie Lawrence, Erika Henningsen, Bonnie Milligan, Micaela Diamond, and more.

Julia Lester has landed an exciting new role!

The 24-year-old Tony nominee, best known for her work on the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, will return to television in the upcoming comedy series The Four Seasons from Tina Fey, Variety reveals.

“Still can’t believe this is real🥹 thank you @variety and @netflix and everyone on The Four Seasons team for welcoming me with the biggest open arms. I am so honored to be your Lila🖤,” Julia shared on Instagram, along with the news and a photo of her on set.

Julia will have a recurring role as Lila in the series, which is based on the 1981 film of the same and centers on “three married couples take vacations together each season, but things are thrown for a loop when one of the husbands leaves his wife and begins bringing a younger woman with him.”

Looking for Alaska‘s Kristine Froseth, Woman of the Hour‘s Kathryn Gallagher, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series‘ Julia Lester, Bottoms‘ Havana Rose Liu, and The Sex Lives of College Girls‘ Alyah Chanelle Scott will star in the upcoming production of Natalie Margolin‘s new play, which will have a 12-week limited engagement in New York City in spring 2025.

The play will be performed at the Newman Mills Theater in the Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space from February 25 to May 18.

Here’s the synopsis: “It’s finals week at a small liberal arts college in rural Pennsylvania. A tight-knit group of roommates pull one last all-nighter to complete their final assignments. Holed up in an old ballroom, the hours pass, the pressure mounts, the Adderall flows, and the truths that have always bound this group together are put to the test. Sara Bareilles is ready for a big night at the 2023 Tony Awards!

The 43-year-old entertainer was joined on the red carpet by fiance Joe Tippett on Sunday night (June 11) at the United Palace Theatre in New York City’s Washington Heights.

Sara is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work in Into the Woods and she’ll be joined by the cast for a performance.

Also in attendance were Brian d’Arcy James, who is up for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical, and Julia Lester, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical.

Into the Woods is also up for Best Revival of a Musical.
