Lily Collins joined co-stars Ashley Park and Lucien Laviscount at the season five premiere of their hit Netflix show on Monday (December 15) held at Le Grand Rex in Paris, France.
Fellow cast members in attendance included Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Paul Forman, Lucas Bravo, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Samuel Arnold, Minnie Driver, Michele Laroque, Thalia Besson, and Arnaud Binard along with creator Darren Star.
Here’s the season five synopsis: Now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city. But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks. Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.

Emily in Paris season five is premiering this week and there are some big updates to the cast that you need to know about.
All episodes of the new season will be released on December 18.
Lily Collins will of course be back as the title character and we know many other stars who are joining her in the new season. Plus, some exciting actors are joining the cast.
There’s one major cast member who is confirmed to be leaving the show and there’s also an actor who claims he was fired after appearing in season four.
Season five is expected to take place just after the end of season four. Filming began in Rome in May and then moves back to Paris for the latter portion of the filming timeframe.
