The trailer for The Pitt season 2 has arrived ahead of the HBO Max debut date.

The second season will take place 10 months after season one during the Fourth of July weekend. It will kick off with weekly releases on HBO Max on January 8, 2026.

Returning cast this season includes Noah Wyle (Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch), Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Nurse Dana Evans), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), and Shabana Azeez (Javadi), with some cast additions like Sepideh Moafi in the role of Dr. Al-Hashimi.

The Pitt is returning to HBO Max, and though it was long-thought it would debut nearly a year to the date that season 1 debuted, the streamer just re-confirmed this to be true.

It’s official that the show’s highly anticipated second season will premiere on January 8, 2026. Season 1 debuted on January 9, 2025.

The stars of The Pitt are hitting the red carpet!

Emmy winners Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa stepped out to show their support at The Rape Treatment Center And Stuart House Annual Brunch on Sunday afternoon (October 26) held at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.

Fellow stars of The Pitt in attendance included Shawn Hatosey, Patrick Ball and girlfriend Elysia Roorbach, Supriya Ganesh, Sepideh Moafi, Shabana Azeez, Taylor Dearden, and Gerran Howell.

Also joining Noah at the event was his wife Sara Wells.

The event was held to benefit the Rape Treatment Center and Stuart House at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center.

The center provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art, free care for rape victims and sexually abused children, and prevention education programs in our community and across the country.

The new season of The Pitt is expected to focus on 1 ER shift over July 4 weekend, and will debut on HBO Max in January of 2026. Watch the first teaser trailer here!

Steven Weber is singing his praises for his friend Noah Wyle and his critically acclaimed new series The Pitt.

Steven, who has been playing Dr. Dean Archer on Chicago Med since 2021, reacted to comparisons between his NBC medical drama and the Emmy-winning HBO series since they are both set in a hospital emergency room.

Noah Wyle is a double Emmy winner tonight!

The 54-year-old actor picked up two wins at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 14) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Noah won Outstanding Drama Series for executive producing The Pitt and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch on the HBO Max series.

The show won five Emmys over all this year. Other wins include Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Katherine LaNasa, Oustanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for Shawn Hatosy, and Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series.
