Jeff Goldblum Stars as Zeus in Netflix's 'KAOS' Trailer - Watch Now!

A new Netflix series is coming out at the end of the month and the trailer was just released!

KAOS is a new Netflix series created by Charlie Covell, who was also the writer of another Netflix show, The End of the F***ing World.

This new show stars Jeff Goldblum as Zeus, king of the Gods and all powerful. The premise of KAOS is that Zeus has been ruling carefree and never truly felt threatened. That is until a wrinkle on his forehead appears that he believes to be a sign of his inevitable fall from power. While this could all just be Zeus’ paranoia, there may be some truth to his fears when it’s revealed that an old friend turned prisoner, Prometheus, is hatching a plot to destroy him.

Also starring in KAOS are Janet McTeer as Hera, David Thewlis as Hades, Rakie Ayola as Persephone, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon, Stephen Dillane as Prometheus, and more!

KAOS premieres on Netflix on August 29. There are eight episodes in total with Charlie writing the majority of them and Georgia Christou stepping in to write episode six.

'KAOS' Teaser Trailer: Jeff Goldblum Is Zeus in Netflix Series!

KAOS is coming!

The new show debuts on Netflix right here on August 29.

Jeff Goldblum plays Zeus: King of the Gods, ruler of the world. He’s cruel, stylish and all-powerful. That is, until heโ€™s not. From BAFTA winning screenwriter and showrunner Charlie Covell (The End Of The F***ing World), KAOS is a bold, darkly comic, contemporary take on Greek mythology: exploring love, power, and life in the underworld,” Netflix declares.

Here’s a full synopsis: “Having long enjoyed his status as king of the gods, Zeusโ€™s reign has never been truly threatened. That is until he wakes up one morning and discovers a wrinkle on his forehead. Believing it to be the harbinger of an ancient prophecy which foretells his destruction, neurosis sets in: Zeus becomes convinced his fall is coming. As his paranoia takes hold, the god of gods – seeing signs everywhere – starts to dangerously self-destruct. And heโ€™s right to be worried. Zeusโ€™s one time friend and now prisoner, Prometheus, is orchestrating a plan to bring him down. The plan involves three disparate humans, all of whom are totally unaware of their cosmic significance or the part they must play in saving the world. No pressure. (Some pressure.)”

Janet McTeer stars as Hera, David Thewlis is Hades, Rakie Ayola is Persephone, Cliff Curtis plays Poseidon, Stephen Dillane stars as Prometheus, Aurora Perrineau is Riddy, Nabhaan Rizwan stars as Dionysus, Killian Scott is Orpheus, Misia Butler plays Caeneus, Stanley Townsend is Minos, and Leila Farzad stars as Ari. Billie Piper and Suzy Eddie Izzard join the cast in cameo roles.
