Francis Ford Coppola received a big honor this weekend!

The 86-year-old legendary filmmaker was honored with the 50th annual AFI Lifetime Achievement Award, which is given to someone “whose talent has in a fundamental way advanced the film art; whose accomplishment has been acknowledged by scholars, critics, professional peers and the general public’ and whose work has stood the test of time.”

Several stars stepped out to help honor Francis at the award ceremony held at Dolby Theatre on Saturday (April 26) in Hollywood, including Harrison Ford, Elle Fanning and Josh Groban, who performed during the event.

Princess Diaries 3 is officially in the works, and the cast list is starting to come together!

Two decades after the release of The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, we learned that a third movie was officially progressing at Disney with Adele Lim directing.

Since the happy news, one star has confirmed that they will be retuning to Genovia. However, talk of a third movie has circulated for years now. In that time, many other franchise stars have addressed a potential comeback.

Earlier this year, one key star hinted that they were unsure if they’d be involved. However, many others expressed interest. Some of the characters haven’t been seen since the first movie back in 2001, and it could set up some excellent drama for the plot if they all came back.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra couple up on the red carpet at the premiere screening for his new movie The Good Half held at Saban Theatre on Tuesday (August 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 31-year-old actor and musician stars in the movie, which is returning to theaters on August 16th with a wider release.

He was joined at the premiere by co-stars Brittany Snow, Alexandra Shipp, David Arquette, Matt Walsh, Elizabeth Shue, Ryan Bergara and Mimi Gianopulos, with her husband Brett Ryland, who wrote the movie based on his own experience, as well as director Robert Schwartzman.

In addition, Nick‘s younger brother and Claim to Fame co-host Franklin Jonas also showed his support, alongside girlfriend Anna Olson.

The Good Half follows Nick‘s Renn Wheeland who returns home to Cleveland for his mother’s funeral. Once there, he forges new relationships while healing old ones, before confronting his problems and trying to face his grief. Watch the trailer!

Just a couple nights before, Nick and Priyanka were seen going out for dinner in Australia after she wrapped filming on her upcoming Prime Video movie The Bluff.

Elle Fanning makes Francis Ford Coppola laugh at a memory between them during his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony on Monday (March 21) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress was just one of the stars at the event, where Francis was honored with an official star on the Hollywood Landmark.

Francis‘s famous family, including wife Eleanor, sister Talia Shire, son Roman, granddaughter Gia, nephews Jason and Robert Schwartzman, and their spouses Brady Cunningham and Zoey Grossman, were also at the event.

Elle shared in her speech that Francis touched her life in many ways, including learning to be resourceful: “Francis uses what he has around him and spins it in to gold. I think he could make the fork on the table a heroin in his story if he needed to.”

She concluded, “In every email we’ve exchanged, you’ve always signed ‘love Uncle Francis,’ so I love you so much Uncle Francis and there’s no one in the world more deserving than you. You should have should have all the stars on the street if it was up to me. I love you.”
