Kristen Bell is the lady in red at the season two premiere of her series Nobody Wants This held at The Egyptian Theatre on Thursday (October 16) in Hollywood.

The 45-year-old actress was joined by her co-star and on-screen beau Adam Brody at the event, ahead of the show’s return on Netflix next week.

Also hitting the carpet were fellow series regulars Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn, as well as creator Erin Foster and husband Simon Tikhman, and her sister/executive producer Sara Foster, with daughters Valentina and Josephine.

Returning recurring cast members Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, D’Arcy Carden and Shiloh Berman also stepped out, as well as new season two guest stars Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler and Arian Moayed. Finneas, who is featured on the season’s soundtrack, and fiancée Claudia Sulewski were also in attendance.

On the carpet, Kristen and Adam teased what fans can expect from the upcoming season.

Netflix has released the first look photos for season two of Nobody Wants This!

Season two will once again star Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn.

Here’s the synopsis: First comes love, then comes life. The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne (Bell) and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah (Brody), their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan (Justine Lupe), his brother Sasha (Simons) and sister-in-law Esther (Tohn), and even themselves. Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now, they’re back and fully committed to merging their lives – and loved ones — together. But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them. Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitchcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Berman also star.

The new season will return on October 23 with 10 brand new, 30 minute episodes. Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Arian Moayed guest star. And if you aren’t aware, Leighton is married to Adam!

Season two of the Netflix hit comedy series Nobody Wants This has officially begun production on season two and the streamer has confirmed some updates about the cast!

Netflix shared the first photo from set, featuring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody laying on a couch together. The season is currently filming in Los Angeles and will premiere later in 2025.

In season one – only four actors had “series regular” status, but that is going to change for the second season. We also know about some new cast members who have been added.

Also, there will be two new showrunners for season two with Girls‘ Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan will be taking over from Jack Burditt. The show’s creator Erin Foster will be back for season two as an executive producer and writer.

Nobody Wants This follows Kristen‘s Joanne falling in love with a rabbi named Noah, played by Adam. At the end of the first season, Joanne realizes she’s not ready to convert to Judaism to be with Noah and tries to break up with him as she wants him to take the head rabbi position. He follows her out of the party they’re at and says he still wants to be with her and they share a kiss.
