In fact, at least 10 shows that premiered in 2025 already got canceled by network execs only a few weeks or months later. Be it because of failed negotiations or simply low viewership and lack of critical acclaim, these shows sadly didn’t get a chance to take off beyond their debut season.

There are so many TV show season finales airing tonight (Sunday, May 18) – including two shows that are airing series finales!

Tonight’s television includes some beloved fan-favorite television shows, as well as one limited series that is signing off for good, and one show that sadly got cancelled.

NBC had a bloodbath last week when they suddenly decided to not renew five of their TV shows including Found, Suits LA, and more.

NBCUniversal’s President of Program Planning Strategy Jeff Bader shared about the shows that were not given new seasons: “it’s so hard to talk about shows and which ones we’re bringing back.”

Gabriel Macht is addressing his Suits return.

The 53-year-old actor, who played Harvey Specter from 2011 to 2019 in the original series, reprised the role for a guest star arc on Suits LA, the new NBC spinoff series.

As it turns out, his first scenes were filmed at the park where he grew up playing baseball.

If you’re tuning in for NBC’s primetime lineup on March 27, you’ll be catching three hours of Suits LA reruns instead of your normal Thursday lineup.

The network is airing three repeat episodes of the new Suits spinoff series ahead of Sunday night’s airing of the sixth episode.

Episode 103, “He Knew,” is airing in the 8pm hour; Episode 104, “Batman Returns,” is airing in the 9pm hour; and Episode 105, “You’re on Your Own,” is airing in the 10pm hour.

NBC usually airs Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Found on Thursday nights, but they are all taking a break this week. The three shows will be back with new episodes on April 3.

A third original Suits actor has joined the cast of the LA spinoff!

David Costabile was just announced to be reprising his character of Daniel Hardman on Suits LA, according to Variety.

He previously held a recurring role on the original USA Network series, more prominently in season two, but he was also in seasons four, five and eight.
