New stars have joined the cast of the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants movie!

Ice Spice, George Lopez, and Regina Hall have signed on for The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Ice Spice is set to contribute an original song for the movie.

Other actors who have joined the cast include Sherry Cola, and Arturo Castro. Voice actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) and Mark Hamill (Flying Dutchman) will be returning to the franchise.

Joey King is supporting a cause close to her heart.

The 25-year-old actress participated in a live read of the classic movie It’s a Wonderful Life on Saturday (December 14) at the Garry Marshall Theatre in Burbank, Calif.

The event supported the Ed Asner Family Center, an organization whose mission is to foster acceptance and enrichment for those striving for wholeness in all aspects of life. Through a diverse range of mental health services and innovative, interactive programs, the Center proudly employs autistic self-advocates as camp counselors, educators, and assistants.

“I have family members who have autism. People with autism are just so incredible, and this foundation just uplifts that,” Joey told Extra.

Also participating in the live read were members of the SpongeBob SquarePants original cast, including Tom Kenny.

FYI: Joey is wearing FRANKIE4 loafers.

The 2024 Kids’ Choice Awards are getting animated!

The upcoming Nickelodeon awards show just announced this year’s hosts and it will go down in history – SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and his best friend Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke) are hosting, live from Bikini Bottom.

This marks the first time animated characters will host a full-length awards show!
