What kind of Apple apps does mail.com offer?
mail.com has Mail apps that work on the Apple iPhone (iOS) and iPad (iPadOS). Just use the device in question to download the Mail app from the App Store.
How secure is the mail.com Mail app?
mail.com takes email security and data privacy very seriously, regardless of whether you use our webmail or the Mail app. We comply with all data privacy regulations and store your data in our state-of-the-art secure servers located in the United States. You can also set up a PIN in the Mail app to make sure no one can access your inbox on your iPhone or iPad (see below).
How do I set up PIN protection, Touch ID or Face ID for my inbox?
To activate your PIN protection, first go to > Settings in your Mail app. Tap > Common Settings > PIN protection mode. Now tap > Turn on PIN protection, select a 4-digit PIN and confirm it by re-entering the number. In the future, you will be asked to enter your PIN every time you try to access the Mail app. Depending on your device, once you have set up PIN protection you also have the option of unlocking your mail.com app with Touch ID or Face ID instead of entering the PIN. You can activate or deactivate this option in the PIN settings, which will appear once you have set up PIN protection mode. Other options allow you to turn off or change your PIN and alter the intervals at which the PIN is requested.
How do I log out of my mail.com account if my iPhone is lost or stolen?
Unfortunately, mobile devices sometimes get lost or stolen. In such cases, we recommend you protect your email account by resetting your automatic login so it is not possible to get in without entering your password. Log in to your mail.com account on a computer or laptop and click > My Account > Security Options in the left navigation menu. Select > Reset auto-login and follow the instructions there.
