Crystal River

One of the longest rivers in world, passing through the Woods of Riciere, was once a center focus of a long battle hundreds of years ago.

Mages of opposite Kingdoms fought and held each other off for days on end, shooting spells across the stream for such a long time that many scholars believe the river itself was infused with magic so that the mages dying on both sides ended up being crystallized along the entire River.

Now hundreds of crystals still stand in perfect form, creating a majestic view, both historically sad and beautiful.
