Update 2 Release Plans

Hey there!

Secondly, let's talk about my plans for the release of Update 2. So some good news and bad news (isn't it always?).

The good news is that I'm nearly done with everything on my end. I'm going to be polishing everything up and getting ready for a release this weekend! Here's what you can expect in the update:

Freya:

• Additional Pull Out Dialogue
• Breakfast Dialogue
• Three New BGs
• Six New CGs
• One Modified CG (Mating Press)
• Two Cut-Ins
• Bad End Scene
• Game Over Scene
• Voice Over

Forest Clearing/Willow:

• Five Forest Clearing BGs
• Forest Clearing Intro Dialogue and Lore
• Forest Clearing Character Introductions
• Willow Story Dialogue
• Five Willow CGs
• Willow Normal Scene

Sound:

• Background Music
• Scene SFX (Moans/Kisses/Etc.)

Improved Gallery:

• Export any image (BGs, CGs, Characters) in the gallery at in-game resolution to view at any time!
• Includes transparency!
• Keep in mind that some original images are slightly larger than what I include in game as I scale most images down to 2560x1440 to save at least some disk space

Navigation Menu!

• Auto-Hides when you move the mouse away
• See how many images there are in a sequence
• Next/Prev/Return buttons so that you are always in full control

Image Locks:

• Keep track of what images you have and haven't seen
• Seeing a base image should unlock all images for that image set, no need to view every single variation
• Let me know if there are any issues with this!

Replay Voice Lines

• Using the history menu, simply click "Play" to hear voice lines again
• And probably some other stuff I'm forgetting...

So this all sounds awesome! What's the bad news? Well, the VO work for Freya isn't finished yet and won't be for at least another week. I've currently received about 1/3 of her dialogue, so that's what's implemented so far. Still, I really wanted to get this update out there for Supporter/Supporter+ members. It'll follow the same cadence as last time for now - ASAP for Supporter+ and then 24hrs afterwards for Supporter tier.

I unfortunately will not be releasing the version without Freya's full VO to the public. I want the public release to be fully complete, and having an "Update 1.5" version or something where only part of Freya's dialogue is voiced will just be confusing/frustrating for people who aren't closely following the development. However, as soon as the VO work is finished and implemented, I'll do a full release cycle for Update 2.

I apologize for how long this update has taken, but I guarantee the wait will be worth it. In the future, I'm going to cut down how much I try to fit in each update as two months feels too long between them for me.
