What’s in a name?
YMMV stands for “Your Mileage May Vary” — a well-known internet acronym that’s been around since the early days of forums and message boards. Yes the people at YMMV are old.
In internet speak, it’s a way of saying:

We’re a fully remote company — and we always have been. Our founder has been working remotely since 2014, long before it became the norm.
