So I just played the demo and so far my opinion. Your being dropped instantly in the game, you don't have any discription what the plant girl of choice does, would be a lot better if you can just left click the girl instead of the small green harvest because you won't rly use left click other then placing a girl.
As someone else mention the aim is kind of off doesn't exactly go to your pointer, a pause button or or something to allow reading what the plant girl does be nice. so far first 3 give resources where as the 50000 retaliates when hit.
so far it's maybe fun to try once but needs a lot of polishing before anyone should buy this game
Ok, the game needs some actual fixing before anyone would want to play this. I actually bought the game to try it out. Beat all 20 days and can say it was a pain. The aiming was not great. You have to keep on right clicking to have the projectile to shoot where your mouse is aiming at. Like Speegey said, day 1 is the decider on how you progress the game since every unit is expensive. Once you beat all 20 days you think you unlocked all the animations in the gallery, but you don't. The game says there's a new game+ once you beat day 20, but there isn't one. I start a new game thinking maybe that's new game+, but it just starts a new game and the gallery option is grayed out.
In all, I want to enjoy this game, but these issues really dampens the whole experience and it's not really worth the price as of right now until the issues of the game is fixed and is a little more fleshed out. I feel like another update, just a small one, should be pushed out to fix the issues of the game to make it somewhat playable.
I beat day 10 and got all the girls but how do i unlock gallery? Is it for patreon only i paid $10 unless theres a set amount of levels but it seems endless
Your game content, floating attacks, high price and unreasonable balance are just like PVZ3. Many of them are better than you, and they are free games. I won't pay $9.1 for such a rubbish game.
No fullscreen ability. Girls just stand there and make money before dying but you can't even harvest said money from the top two of the four rows because the button is off the top of the screen. Enemies just pile up and kill your bitches? Is that the point? Entire concept is trash with equally horribad execution and programming.
Edit: Ignore the animated gifs for screenshots on the game page. None of them show the nonstop hordes of monsters that will attack with no way for you to combat it on the first night.
update: no way am i ever paying for this game unless it gets a major overhaul, 99% of this game's difficulty is trying to get through night 1 because everything is expensive and all you can afford is spuds, but once you start buying other plants and weapons the game becomes piss easy.
what is with itch developers not saying what the difference between free and paid versions are? they both are 50mb and there's no indicators on this page that i could find
20 days to beat is a little crazy imo. I had the borders all offensive girls, and the middle all melon girls with all upgrades by the end of night 8. I have 5 million gold by day 12 with nothing else to spend it on and there just simply isn't enough variation to incentivize staring at the game for another 8 days. Also the projectile flying slightly above where your cursor is becomes far more irritating as the days pass by.
