Dance in the rain

I am back here on the 13@rts blog today sharing this layout I created using the beautiful new Victoriana Collection.

I just love the dark  vintage look of this Collection with it's beautiful roses and damask patterns.

You will note that I created layers by tearing one sheet of the paper and affixing the torn part on the back of a second sheet of the same paper. Next, I covered  my page with clear gesso to prepare the surface for my mixed media layers.

Using one of our new stencils and modelling paste, I stenciled across the area where the papers meet. Once the modelling paste was dry I sprayed the area with 13@rts Scarlet and Bronze Pearl Mists.

I matted my photo and created a bit of interest around it by adding Ecru Roots, 13@rts Emphemra pieces, lace and flowers.

Last but not least I splattered my layout with white gesso and added a couple of sentiment stickers.

Hello dear 13arts friends

I am back on the blog today sharing an art journal I created for you.  Sometimes we just need to go a bit out of the box and create something we don't do every day so I figured why not, it's been ages since I last did one :)

I started by covering my pages in clear gesso and continued with layers of paper, gel medium, modelling paste and black gesso.

As you will see I chose rich browns for my background, but then decided to add the indigo to createca bit of contrast.

I continued with more layers of different materials, paper strips and gel medium prior adding my little picture from our Conversations on Trains Collection, stickers and a couple of flowers from 49And Market.

Hello!!!!

This is Christina with you today with an art journal page again. 

I am so in love with mixed media art journal pages and of course I love glitter!!!

So , you 'll see a lot of glitter and texture on my art journal today...

Undernieth my photo , you'll see some old brushes gessoed and painted with metallic paints and glitter... No paper embellies today...Only some foil butterflies....

I have used this beautiful "Aqua Roses " stencil twice , to make this textured backround!First time with modeling paste , next with glitter...Gold...

Some more close-ups are necessary....

With the help of materials from 13@rts I conveyed the mood of love and joy:)

I used mists 13@rts to create the background. I adore their bright colors!!!

Hej!

Dzis wita Was Agnieszka Bellaidea z nowym blejtramem .

Tym razem postanowilam wrocic do czarnego gesso i niebiesko-fioletowej kolorystyki.

Hi! It's Agnieszka Bellaidea today with me new canvas,This time I played again with black gesso and blue/purple color combo.

Nie wiem czy znacie wszystkie  maski 13arts, warto sprawdzac nowe wzory przy okazji wydawania kazdej nowej kolekcji.

Ja tym razem uzylam Technical.

I don't know if you saw already all stencils by 13arts, it's worth to check new designs when we have new paper collections.

Efektem szperania w pudelku z foremkami jest polaczenie wyciskow wielu z nich na mojej pracy. Kolekcja 13arts powieksza sie ale tez wiele wzorow wysprzedaje sie szybko wiec jesli cos sie Wam spodoba to koniecznie wrzucajcie do koszyka. 

I went trough my box with molds and you can see I was busy with several of them. Our collection in the shop is growing but new designs are selling fast so if you like something just start putting in your basket next time you shop.

Tekturki zostaly zagruntowane gesso na "szorstko" i jeszcze na mokro pomalowane mgielkami.

All my chipboards were painted with raught effect and painted when still wet.

Mikrokulki szklane sa obecnie w promocji warto wiec zaopatrzyc sie na zapas. Ja przykleilam swoje na zel medium a nastepnie pomalowalam.

Na koniec musze koniecznie wymienic Shiny Powders, za ich pomoca otrzymujemy swietne efekty.

I just have to mention Shiny Powders, we can archive fantastic effects.
