DYSU Guest Designer! Kraft & Twine

Hoi allemaal!

Vorige week was ik de "hand-picked winner op het blog van Do You Stack Up met mijn knoopjes-kaart. En daarom mag ik voor deze challenge een kaartje maken dat ook op het blog getoond wordt! Zalig!

Het thema voor deze week is Kraft & Twine en laten dat nu net twee dingen zijn die altijd wel ergens op mijn kaarten te vinden zijn! Maar voor deze challenge vond ik wel dat ze iets meer benadrukt mochten worden. Dus he bik mijn best gedaan om ze in de spotlight te zetten en het voor de rest redelijk sober te houden. Er zit zelfs geen lint op ;-)

De prachtige Digi die ik voor deze challenge mocht gebruiken is van  Hope Jacare. Zij maakt prachtige tekeningen en heeft een Etsy-shop. Het was voor mij wel een uitdaging om eens een prentje met wat meer krulletjes in te kleuren, want meestal val ik op sobere, eenvoudige prentjes.

Voor het kadertje heb ik een kadertje gesneden uit cardstock en het daarna omwikkeld met twine. De hoekjes gingen wat moeilijker dus die heb ik gecamoufleerd met een knoopje ;-)

Ik kon het niet laten om zoals gewoonlijk het prentje uit te snijden en dat heb ik voor cardstock geplakt. Dan een blad design papier van Basic Grey. En om het af te werken enkele parels en knoopjes uit mijn voorrad en van AnMa Creatief. De twine komt trouwens ook van bij haar!

Dat was het zo'n beetje. Ik hoop dat jullie het een mooi kaartje vinden! Laat gerust een reactie achter, dat vind ik altijd fijn om te lezen! Ik ga nu een beetje verder voor school werken, want na zo'n eerste week heb je toch altijd nog veel kleine klusjes die nog moeten gebeuren...

Hi everyone!

Last week I was the "hand-picked winner on the blog Do You Stack Up with my buttons card. And that's why I got to make a card for this challenge at the blog ! Lucky me!

The theme for this week is Kraft & Twine and show those are two things that are always somewhere on my cards! But for this challenge I thought that they could be more shown. So i(ve tried my best to put them in the spotlight and kept the rest fairly simple to keep the focus on the main ingriedients. There isn't even a ribbon on it ;-)

The beautiful Digi that I could use for this challenge is by Hope Jacare. She makes beautiful drawings and has an Etsy shop. It was a challenge for me to have a image with more curls to color, because usually I have a crush on the sober, simple images.

For the frame, I have cut a frame out of cardstock and then wrapped it with twine. The corners were a little harder so I camouflaged them with a button;-)

I could not resist as usual to cut out the image and I glued it on to cardstock. The design paper is  a sheet of paper from Basic Grey. And to finish some beads and buttons from my stock, they both are from Anma Creative. The twine is also from0 her shop!

Hoi allemaal!

Ik zie net dat ik (weer) een challenge bij Pollycraft gewonnen heb!

Het was een sketch-challenge en ik heb gewonnen  met deze kaart.

Ik heb ook nog een candy gewonnen bij All That Scraps . Ik weet nog niet welke stempelset het zal worden,

maar als ik hem heb ontvangen laat ik het zeker aan jullie zien!

Ik ben nog altijd aan het wachten op een antwoord van Paper Play Challenges....

Maar ik denk niet dat ik ooit mijn prijsje daarvan zal zien :-(

Och ja, ik ben eigenlijk al heel erg blij met mij nieuwe Pollycraft digi! ;-)

Hello!

I just found out that i've won the sketch-challenge @ Pollycraft (again ;-))!

This is the winning card.

I've also won a candy @ All That Scraps. Don't know which of the 2 stamp sets,

but i'll definately show you a pic when i've received it! 

I'm still waiting for an answer from Paper Play Challenges... 

But i don't think i'll ever see my prize :-( 

Oh, well, i'm happy with my new Pollycraft-digi! ;-)
