Olo!
Winter finally caught up with us the past few days, there's nothing like digging your car out from under several inches of snow early in the morning. If you couldn't tell, that was said in my best sarcastic tone. ;)
Oh well, I should just be happy it held off this late into the season. If I'm lucky this will be all we get and spring will be right around the corner... it is the last day of January after all.
Ok, whine about the weather is officially over. Moving on to my card for today... it's another Greeting Farm girlie from the Night Out set. This one is a bit fancier than the last one I inked up, what with her glitzy earrings and clutch. And since she looked like a million bucks I thought it would be clever to pair her up with that "thanks a million" sentiment. When I started coloring her it was with the intention of entering her into the red, white, and blue challenge but I just couldn't stick to that patriotic color scheme so I ended up finding that pretty blue floral instead. All in all, I'm liking how this one came together. :)
TGIF and have a great weekend my friends!

Reach for the sky...
Hey there!
Well, it looks like I'm going from one extreme to the other. Seeing as how my last card used a stamp that I've been holding on to for years while today's card features a stamp that I just got in the mail. Yep, this Skyward Anya showed up in my mailbox yesterday and as soon as I took her out of her packaging I ended up getting her onto a card. I confess that while I think Skyward is a cutie, I didn't know if I would use her much... I mostly got her for her body since with a head swap I think she'll make for a pretty winter attired Anya. So I surprised myself by actually using her as is this first time out. I even paired her up with the hot air balloon from the retired Fly Away TGF set, talk about a match made in stamping heaven, LOL!
Okey dokey, it's back to the ol' grindstone for me... TTYL! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Carta Bella (Cool Summer), Making Memories (green ledger)

Let's fall in love...
Good morning!
Can you believe I've had this Josephine stamp for years and this is the first time that I've colored her up? It seems like every year before Valentine's Day I've intended to get her on a card but it just never happened. So this time I made it a point to finally get this crazy cutie onto her own card. I paired her up with another older Basic Grey paper collection called Bittersweet, the big ol' paisley print and rich colors suit this gypsy well. I'm also entering Josephine into this week's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge, Love is in the air. I think she definitely fits the bill, what with those magic vapors wafting from her potion. ;)
Alrighty, time to see kind of trouble I can get myself into today.
Later gators!

Love you...
Hi guys!
I spent a chilly night just vegging at home yesterday and even found some time to get a bit crafty. I've had Dressy Mae printed out for quite a while now and there is something about her dreamy look that makes her perfect for a valentine. So when I came across these older Basic Grey papers with that lovely mix of chocolate brown and pink I knew I had found a home for Mae. I love how she looks like she is all dressed up for a school dance, waiting on her date to pick her up in the limo. :)
Well, I've got a couple days off now and there are a few stamps that I've been itchin' to color up so I'm sure I'll see ya again manana!

Forever and ever...
Olo!
I'm playing along in this week's Farm Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm and the theme this time is Love is in the Air. This is my first time coloring up Sweetie Bean and I gotta say, I'm in love with that hair... so much fun to color! Because she is a little Valentine's Fairy I thought I could get away with giving her a non-traditional hair color. Doesn't the berry red color make her look like candy? :)
The paper is old KI Memories and once I had it glued down there was something about it that made me want to add the black strip and have this card look kinda like a school notebook. Must be the doodle look to the print, I know I spent many a class doodling away on my notebooks during my school years. Anywho... a few little embellies and this card was done.
Well, I should get this day started. Thanks for stopping by!

Love was made for you and me...
Good morning!
It's review preview day over on the CCD blog and we are shining the spotlight on the new Valentine Birds and Bees stamps from Sweet November. For my card I used The Birds once again and this time around colored them up to look like a couple of Goldfinches. Love is definitely in the air with these two as they go about their aerial courtship. I'm still a fan of pairing yellow and grey together so I grabbed this great print from the Crate Love Notes paper pad. I think it makes for a lovely alternative to the traditional reds and pinks of most Valentine cards.
Ok, don't forget to check out the CCD blog for all sorts of lovey dovey inspiration from my teamies today. And all of the January stamps can of course be found right here in the CCD store! :)
XOXO!
Supply list:

Hello...
Hey there!
I used some Christmas money to get a few Sister Stamps and Mieko here was one of the new cuties that I added to my collection. The way she is posed I figure there are a lot of different things one could put in her hands and this time I altered her just a bit by adding a flower. The papers have been sitting on my desk for ages so while I was cleaning it off, I figured this was a good time to finally use them up... I even used a tiny scrap to paper piece Mieko's kimono. The end result just puts a smile on my face. :)
Well, I've got another long day ahead of me.
TTFN!
