Boo to you!
It's Tuesday and time for a new 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store card creation. Not only that but it's Halloween! That means I have one last chance to get spooky before jumping into Christmas. So I grabbed the Little Witchies from Stamping Bella once again and created a completely different scene and story than the first card I made with her. This time I paired her up with the tombstone and bats from the Haunted House Outdoor Decor set and gave her a 'poison' candied apple from the Fall Fruit set. This is why I am so head-over-heels with the whole Little Bits concept, not only can you mix and match within a theme but you can also start mixing themes so the more sets I collect the more stories I can tell with these fun and fantastic stamps. :)
Alrighty, there is still a couple weeks to play along in the October 'anything goes' challenge so head on over to the 7 Kids blog
and play along for the chance to win a $20 gift certificate! While I am also going to throw this into the current 'anything goes' Bellarific Challenge too.

A special Sunday hello!
I'm back with my final post as a guest designer for Whimsy Stamps, what an amazing two months it has been and I thank them again for having me. It's night 29 of the 31 Nights of Halloween celebration and that means the big day, ummm... I mean night, is almost here! Can you believe all of the fa-BOO-lous cards and projects that have already been shared? SO much talent and creativity!
For my final card I have used some wonky borders from the FaDoodles stamp set to create a fun frame around the cute little Pumpkin Witchy by Kristen Winkelbauer. By masking her off I could easily take the two check patterned borders and stamp this frame that, once the mask was removed, gives the illusion of her hat and the pumpkins spilling out of the 'window' that is created. I colored in an outdoorsy background using glowing fall colors to really set the scene of Pumpkin Witchy showing off her prize picks from the patch. With the sun just about to set she should be heading home to carve them all into scary jack o'lanterns for the front porch. :)
Thank you again for letting me share in all of this Halloween fun. I have had such a wonderful time guesting for WHIMSY STAMPS!

Frightfully fun Halloween...
Hello, hello!
I couldn't let Halloween pass by without getting a Tiddly Inks cutie on a card and Peek-a-Boo Bugg was really talking to me. So I printed her out and colored her up but with no further plan in mind. There she was looking all bright and colorful but without any place to 'live'. I couldn't settle on a background for her until my sister suggested she be on a front porch with the door and window in the background. I liked the idea but I was a bit intimidated by the idea of just free hand coloring in all that architecture. So I took a deep breath, grabbed a ruler and got to sketching. It actually came together much quicker than I thought it would and I love how the white clapboard siding makes it all look very cheery and inviting. You know me and my love of black kitties so of course I had to add one in the window peeking out at Peek-a-Boo Bugg. It looks to me like she is a little trick-or-treater posing for a picture before getting out there and getting some candy. Love! :)
Later gators!

Happy Holidays...
Hello, again!
I’m back on the MFT blog today with a pair of Christmas cards featuring the fun critters from the Polar Pals stamp set that was part of the October release. For this non-traditional Christmas card I've imagined the cute narwhal leaping out of the cold, arctic waves to jump through a hoop of holiday greetings. To make this happen I used a mix of new and older MFT dies. The 'hoop' is the Happy Holidays Circle Frame and the water was created by cutting some ombre inked cardstock into strips with the Ocean Waves die-namics. This background was all trimmed out using the A2 stitched rectangle stax set 2 and the coordinating Polar Pals die made it easy to cut out the narwhal and pop him up with dimensional adhesive right over the stitched sentiment strip. Even without any red or green in sight, I think this guy is ready for a very cool yule!
To check out my bonus creation using Polar Pals just hop on over to the MFT blog. Well, that's it for today, I'll be back for one final MFT guest post next week. :)
