Olo!
As I was deciding what stamp to ink up yesterday my eye ran across the Sugar Nellie binder and after experiencing a twinge of sadness that they are no more, it felt like the perfect time to revisit their super sweet range of fairy stamps. This beauty is called Angelica and I'm ashamed to admit that this is the first time that I've gotten her on a card. I wanted the whole scene to be soft and dreamy, kinda like the early mornings this time of year as we start transitioning into cooler fall temperatures. With her blue and purple dress I imagine Angelica as a night fairy who got caught by the sunrise and now it's time for her to fly back to her secret hidee-hole until the evening returns. :)
Thanks for stop by today!

Wonderful time of the year...
Hey there!
I've got a pretty little Christmas card to share today. This darling image is an older Sugar Nellie stamp called Hello Little Robin. It was kinda bittersweet inking her up knowing that after all these years Sugar Nellie is closing up shop. I will so miss their gorgeous stamps but it makes me even more grateful to have the stash of Sugar Nellie stamps that I do. I really need to make it a goal in the new year to ink more of them up. I paired this winter fairy and her birdie friend with the Winter Wonderland paper pad by Pebbles because I love the frosty purples and blues. It was a fun challenge to match up the Copics to the colors in the paper and I swear her blue skirt matches better in person than it does in this pic.
Ok friends, gotta run... talk at'cha later!

A friend like you...
TGIF!
I had some time in my crafty room yesterday and I decided to look in my Sugar Nellie binder for some fall card inspiration. That's where I found Hazel and Nutty and I'm ashamed to admit that I think this is my first time coloring them up! It was worth the wait though because I had a blast with this pretty little fairy and her squirrelly friend. The papers are a random mix that I put together as I flipped through a stack of scraps and I just fell in love with this combo for a fall card even though there is none of the traditional oranges or reds that you usually find. Then I grabbed the Fancy Foliage die to accent the card design because I liked how it mimicked the white silhouettes in the paper. All in all it came together to be a pretty little card that I'm quite pleased with.
Take care and have a fabulous weekend everybody! :)

Shore do love you...
Olo!
It's day 2 of my 'month of mermaids' and I chose to print out the lovely Water Lily digi from Sugar Nellie. She's a recent purchase in preparation for this month's theme and she's currently on sale right now because before too long Water Lily will be discontinued and no longer available. Another mermaid daydreaming on a rock and once again I was inspired to color an entire scene for her. This time I went with a mid day look and gave Water Lily an inlet to call home... it looks so peaceful, don'tcha think? And I'm also entering this card into the current Anything Goes challenge at The Sugar Bowl.
Alrighty, time for me to scoot. Have a wonderful weekend everybody! :)

The flowers in your garden...
Hi there!
It looks like I can't pull myself away from the pastel color scheme because here I am again and this time a lovely little Gorjuss Girl got the treatment. What can I say... when you find yourself surrounded by pretty blossoming trees and blossoms in your day to day, I guess you can't help but be inspired. When I sat down to color and create yesterday I knew I wanted to make something for the current Sugar Bowl challenge and since it has been ages since I got a Gorjuss Girl on a card I went straight to the GG binder. I ended up choosing Rainy Daze because I really liked her fun hat and outfit. I colored Rainy to match this great floral print 'cause the black background adds a nice contrast to all the light pastels and she really pops. The rest of the design is super simple but I think it works. :)
Ok, thanks for stopping by today!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

Blooms...
Hello, hello!
It's been quite some time since I've played along in the Sugar Bowl challenge and I really wanted to do something about that. So I grabbed my Sugar Nellie stamp binder and searched for just the right image to inspire me. I finally settled on this delightful flower fairy called Live, Laugh, Love. I simply adore these stamps and am keeping my fingers crossed that we might see some new ones someday soon, it feels like its been ages since there was a Sugar Nellie release. But I digress, I ended up pairing Live, Laugh, Love with a pretty scrap of floral paper from The Girls' Paperie and pulled all of my Copic colors from it. The design is a clean and simple one with only a sprinkling of sequins for embellishment. I gotta say that this card makes me happy, everything about it says springtime sunshine to me. :)
Well, enjoy this leap day today... try to do something fun 'cause we only get this every four years. ;)
Toodles!
