The Crafter's Cafe challenge #204 - DT card

• Challenge #204 at the Crafter's Cafe is to follow a seasonal theme - either spring or fall.  Here in Arizona it is hard to think of anything but summer - the forecast is for close to 110 on Saturday!  That being said, as fast as this year is passing by, Halloween is really just around the corner!  This cute Halloween Sign  image is from Paper Nest Dolls.  I used several scraps of paper from a collection by The image is colored with water color pencils and an aqua pen, and I added some shiny gems.

Thanksgiving Blessings ~ QKR Stampede #270

This week the Anything Goes challenge at QKR Stampede has the option of "Give Thanks".  I like the look of a large sentiment with a background of patterned paper.  The challenge is open through 3 p.m. Thursday, and you may enter a maximum of 3 times.  Prizes are available for using QKR images as well as non-QKR.   This is one of the sentiments available from QKR Stampede.  The papers are from a DCWV Fall stack. I mostly covered the paper that includes the words family, foliage, and harvest - things for which we are thankful.   I added a bit of glittery fall leaf ribbon.  The wire edge adds a bit of texture.
