Your Special Day........... Enjoy. Birthday Card

Hi there guys, here is another post from me. It is about time eh.....so I was watching a video tutorial from #Martalapkowski and it got me all those ideas in my head, so offcourse I had to make a Mixed Media Card.....with the yummi digital papers from Marta offcourse and from the Junk Journal Studio the background papers. I just love making these kind of cards and working in my art journal. 

So what did I do, at first I worked with Gesso and glued my background paper on the card. Then I played with ModPodge and placed the digital paper Spring from the Junk Journal Studio onto my card. On top of that I worked with Washi tape here and there........

From the digital papers from Marta I cut out some flowers and butterflies, I have placed them onto my card randomly and colored them with some Aquacolors. Last but not least I placed the sentiment from Jenine Siemerink, just love to cut the words into a few pieces and devide them onto my card. 

Hallo allemaal, hier is weer een bericht van mij. Het werd tijd.....dus ik was een video-tutorial om het te bekijken van #Martalapkowski en ik kreeg al die ideeën in mijn hoofd, dus moest ik natuurlijk een Mixed Media Card maken.....met de yummi digitale papieren van Marta natuurlijk en van de Junk Journal Studio de achtergrondpapieren. Dus wat heb ik gedaan, ik heb eerst met Gesso gewerkt en mijn achtergrondpapier op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik met ModPodge gespeeld en het digitale papier Spring van de Junk Journal Studio op mijn kaart geplakt. Bovendien heb ik hier en daar met Washi tape gewerkt........

Uit het digitale papier van Marta heb ik wat bloemen en vlinders geknipt, deze heb ik willekeurig op mijn kaart geplakt en ingekleurd met wat Aquacolors. Last but not least plaatste ik de tekst van Jenine Siemerink, vind het zo leuk om de woorden in een paar stukjes te knippen en op mijn kaart te verdelen.

Hallloooooo...het is weer eens tijd voor een blogpost. Ik heb weer een aantal Vintage babykaartjes gemaakt, voor een aantal collega's en voor een "oma"  zo leuk om te doen. Ik dacht ik deel ze even met jullie. 

Hello there, it is about time for another blogpost. I have made a couple of Vintage Babycards that I made for a few colleques and for a new Grandma, I had so much fun making them and I thought I would show them to you.....

Dit kaartje is gemaakt voor een collega die een zoontje heeft gekregen. De achtergrond is gemaakt met de Gelliplate en ik heb gebruik gemaakt van een aantal stencils van Tim Holtz....supergaaf om te doen ook met gebruik van de Gelliplate. Superleuk om te ontdekken hoe je de stencils ook op de Gelliplate kunt gebruiken en daardoor een leuke achtergrond kunt maken. Het hart is van Memory Box en gestanst. Bewerkt met acrylverf en opgeplakt op mijn kaart. Ik heb ook maar eens de "oude" stickers uit de kast gehaald en zwart gekleurd met een pen. Tevens een stempeltje gebruikt met een mooie tekst voor een baby. 

So this card is made for a colleque that had a new born Son. The background is made with the Gelliplate and I have worked with a few stencils from Tim Holtz....I loved playing with the stencils to find out what you can do with them on a Gelliplate and the diversity that you can create with them. The heart is from Memory Box and worked on with Acrylic Paints. I have glued it onto my card. I also took out some old stickers and painted it black with a pen. And placed it onto my card. And last but not least I stamped a nice sentiment onto my Babycard. 

Ook voor deze babykaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de Gelliplate, je kunt zoveel verschillende leuke achtergronden maken met stencils en met acrylverf. De stencils zijn van Tim Holtz. Ook hier weer het hart van Memory Box gebruikt en gestanst. Bewerkt met de Colorsticks van Jane Davenport. Een leuke babytekst op de kaart en in het hart weer stickers gebruikt en zwart gekleurd met een pen. 

I also worked with the Gelliplate on this Babycard, you can make so many different backgrounds with stencils and acrylic paints. The stencils are from Tim Holtz. And yep I also used the heart from Memory Box. I colored them with the colorsticks from Jane Davenport and placed a nice Babysentiment onto the card. 

deze Baby kaart is op dezelfde manier gemaakt, Gelliplate gebruikt voor de achtergrond met stencils en acrylverf. Aan de rechterkant heb ik nog wat meer textuur aangebracht door het gebruik van Nuvo Jewel Drops. Tevens tekst gebruikt van een stempeltje en stickers en deze gekleurd met een zwarte pen. 

Last Babycard is made the same way, I was on a roll and decided to make 3 at once....Gelliplate was used for the background and stencils were used together with acrylic paints. On the right side of the card I worked on some texture by using the Nuvo Jewel Drops. Sentiments were used and some stickers.

#5Supllieschallenge Marta Lapkowska's Maremi Art Tutorial......

Hi there guys, 

I really had tons of fun with checking out #Martalapkowska Fun tutorials on her Youtube channel.

I followed the #5Supllieschallenge and you only use 5 different products to make a project. 

Ik heb veel plezier gehad met het bekijken van #MartaLapkowska haar tutorial op haar Youtube Channel.  Ik heb haar #5Supllieschallenge gevolgd en je mocht 5 producten gebruiken om een project te maken.

In this case I chose to make 2 Journal pages in my #artbymarlene Art Journal. They are a bit bigger and I can be creative on them.....

I chose my 5 art supllies, just what I had in my craftroom....

In dit geval heb ik gekozen om 2 Art Journal paginga's te maken in mijn #artbymarlene Art Journal. Ze zijn wat groter en dan kan ik mijn creativiteit er beter op kwijt. Ik heb 5 producten gekozen die ik in mijn Hobbykamer had.....

So I had this Tissue wrap paper from #Timholtz and modpodge to glue the layers down. Some washi-tape from #jeninesiemerink,  Color sticks from #Janedavenport and the awesome butterflies from #maremismallart digital papers. (Thank you so much Marta for these Awesome butterflies).

Ik had Tissue wrap paper van Tim Holtz, Modpodge om te lagen te plakken, washi tape van Jenine Siemerink, Colorsticks van Jane Davenport and the mooie vlinders van Maremismall art haar Digitale papieren. 

First thing I did was glue everything down on my journal pages, used the washi tape random on my papers. Worked with some color around the butterflies, I choose #Pout and #Moonkiss from the Colorsticks. 

Het eerste wat ik deed was alles wat ik wilde gebruiken van het Tissue paper gelijmd op mijn art journal pagina's. Washi tape hier en daar opgeplakt en kleur aangebracht rondom the vlinders . Ik heb de kleuren colorsticks Pout en Moonkiss gebruikt. 

After that was dry I glued the butterflies on my artjournal pages. And worked with the colors on the butterflies. 

Toen alles droog was op de achtergrond heb ik de vlinders erop geplakt. En ook wat kleur op de vlinders aangebracht. 

On the second Art journal page I placed a smaller butterfly, these georgous butterflies are from #MartaLapkowski, she is such a amazing artist.

Last but not least I placed the sentiments from the washitape of #JenineSiemerink. I had loads of fun in less than a hour....I think I am going to make another one a little bit different but same technique. You should try it out and join into the #5Supllieschallenge, you will be surprised what you can make with a few things...

Op de 2de pagina heb ik een kleinere vlinder geplaatst. Deze mooie vlinders zijn van #MartaLapkowski haar Digitale papers. Ze is een geweldige Artist.  Laatste wat ik gedaan heb is van de washitape van #Jeninesiemerink. Ik heb veel plezier gehad met het creëren van mijn project, ik denk dat ik binnen het uur klaar was.....en ik ga er nog eentje maken, beetje anders maar zelfde techniek....Als jullie ook zoveel plezier willen hebben dan is de #5Supplieschallenge van Marta zekers een aanrader, je zult verbaasd zijn wat je kunt maken met weinig spullen.......
