Mums and Daughters

Another very simple layout because the papers were so pretty I wanted to let them shine!  I fussy cut the large flower embellishment out several times and layered it up and that was about it for embellishments :)  The photo was taken on Bournemouth beach on a beautiful warm and sunny day.  We had just enjoyed a bag of chips for lunch on the seafront!  Simple pleasures!

Sugar & Spice?

Quite a simple little layout this one, but quite effective I think, and I love that I got to totally indulge my girlie side with all these pretty pink papers and embellishments :)

Again, my old trusty favourite Basic Grey supplies for most of this layout.  A couple of years ago, I loved EVERYTHING Basic Grey, then for a short while not so much, and now, well there have been a few gorgeous collections, but I have broadened my horizons and discovered other manufacturers ...

Like Father, Like Son

This layout is a lesson to me to blog as I create, as I can't remember much about the circumstances surrounding it!  Emma is always telling me off about that, especially when we do the same sketch and we can't compare because mine hasn't been blogged!  Sorry Emma!

I do however remember doing this one with Emma, from a sketch, although where that sketch came from, or who actually chose it, escapes me!

The photo, although quite old, was taken at Kingston Lacy here in Dorset, probably when we hadn't been living down here for long and were still exploring our new area.  I used really old Basic Grey papers, I think they are called Recess?!  I have a thing for tags, so I quite like the tags poking out under the papers ... easily pleased, that's me!
