Halloween Trick or Treat Fun by Julie Lavalette

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi everyone it's JULIE here today, I hope you had a lovely weekend and managed some creative time. Today I am sharing some more Halloween inspiration using many of the amazing Halloween dies Cheery Lynn have.

My Witches Cauldron was cut out in black cardstock adding some Vintage photo Distress powder at the edges to give a rust effect. My flames and logs were cut out in White cardstock and coloured with Copic pens adding some Glossy Accents onto the flames.

My cute little Witch was cut from the Trick or Treat Border layering her with a foam pad.

My hills were die cut from my Stitched stacker die, I then fussy cut the shape of hills and highlighted the stitching effect with a black pen, distressing the edges and adding some black soot Distress ink.

My house I layered Orange cardstock behind to give a warm glow, layering on with foam pads and a spooky ghost behind. My stormy sky was created with inks and a cloud stencil.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you to create a Halloween scene on a card or Scrapbooking page.

Good luck to everyone entering our Bi-Weekly Challenge for a chance to win a $20 spending spree.

Crafty Hugs,
Julie x

For Someone Special by Eva Dobilas

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hi there, this is Eva today with a super fun card using some of our new dies I love!

To create this card I started out with an A2 size card which I cut out of a pink card stock.  Next I die cut one of the Rectangle Scalloped LG Silver Stackers and fit it on my card slanted to give it an interesting look.  Next I added some watercolor to the top portion.  Next I die cut the Floral Bouquet Kit using water color card stock and painted them and added them to the top portion of the card.  I also added a black half pearl in my flower.

Finally I die cut  the Whimsical For Someone Special using black card stock and added it to my card.

Hope you like what you see and here are the dies I used to create this little card:

Thanks for visiting and hope to see you creations in our newest challenge!

Hugs,
Eva

Love You Card by Eva Dobilas

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Hello, this is Eva, hope you had a great weekend!  Are you ready for Valentine's Day?  Well, if not, I have a card to share with you using our gorgeous dies.  So let me show you how I created this card.

I started out by creating an A2 size card base out of black card stock, then I die cut a A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped die out of pink card stock and adhered it to my card base.  Next I die cut a A2 Frames Rectangular Classic die using patterned paper and adhered that on top of my pink scalloped die cut.  Then I die cut a Horizon Fishtail Banners out of another patterned paper and placed that in the middle.

Then I die cut the bigger of the Two Of Hearts die out of the pink card stock and placed it on top of the banner.  Next I die cut one of the Tags #1 dies using cream card stock and stamped my sentiment on it and added it on top of the heart.  Finally I die cut two Leafy Flourish dies using the smaller design using gold glitter card stock and tucked it under and over the sentiment tag.

Hope you like this happy little card as it's just perfect for Valentine's Day.  Here are the Cheery Lynn Dies I used to create it with:

A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped (Set of 7) - CM-6

Well, that is it for now.  Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you cards playing in this week's challenge!

Hugs,
Eva
