New Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Sail Away

A new challenge has started today on the Ruby's Rainbow Challenge Blog and this time our theme is 'sail away'.  You can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

Sadly, this is our final Ruby's Rainbow Challenge so it would be lovely to see lots of people taking part.

For my card I've used the 'Wavy Seascape' stamp from LC Designs which you can find here on their website.  The paper I've used is from both the full size and the dinkie 'At the Seaside' paper packs available here and here.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Creatalicious Challenge - 'anything goes with option of sea/beach'
Paradise of Stamps - 'anything goes'

New Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Make Your Own Background

We've got a new challenge today on the Ruby's Rainbow Challenge Blog and this time we're asking you to 'make your own background'.  You can find all the details about the challenge here on the challenge blog.

For my card I've used three colours of Distress Ink sponged through a Memory Box stencil.  I then overstamped with a sentiment stamp from Visible Image and added a die cut butterfly to finish the card.

New Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Hip to Be Square

It was my turn to choose the theme for today's new challenge on the Ruby's Rainbow Challenge Blog and I've chosen 'hip to be square'.  The base of your card should be square but after that you can whatever shapes you want to.  All the details about the challenge can be found here on the blog.

My card is one I designed for the little craft club I help to run - I'd been asked for a sympathy card and this is what I came up with.

I used a Memory Box die called 'Perky Poppies' and die cut this in black and red paper.  I then inlaid the red pieces in to the black outline and matted them on to white card with layers of red and black paper.  The sentiment is a stamp from Visible Image.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Through the Craft Room Door - 'anything goes'
Craft Your Passion Challenge - 'anything goes'
Word Art Wednesday - 'anything goes'

New Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Anything But a Card

This week on the Ruby's Rainbow Challenge Blog we're asking you to make 'anything but a card' - you can find all the details and see the creations from the rest of the Design Team here on the challenge blog.

My project is a little fridge magnet and it was another of my designs for my LC Designs class on 28 May.  On the reverse side is a strip of magnetic tape which I bought in Poundland.

I've used:

'Dinkies Butterfly' stamp from LC Designs
paper and gems from Craft Creations
Promarkers
ribbon from my stash

New Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Use a Transparent Element

Our new challenge this week on the Ruby's Rainbow Challenge Blog is to use a 'transparent element'.  You can find all the details here on the challenge blog.

I'm sharing one of the projects I made at a workshop last weekend with Visible Image stamps.  The projects we made were something completely different for me but I ended up loving them!
