Critters

Critters critters everywhere!  We have our share of all sorts of critters living out here in the boonies!  In fact, we probably have MORE than our share.  With Spring right around the corner (hopefully) they'll be coming out in droves too!  Thank goodness we don't have dino critters though and I can just use them for cards for little boys.

I used some "older than dirt" patterned paper from Stampin' Up to paper piece little dino - and also for the background.  Some clouds were sponged in and I used Critters from the Past stamp set and dies from Lawn Fawn.  Clean and simple but fun.

I'd like to enter this in a couple of challenges.  First of all, Leslie, over the The Crooked Stamper has started a Sketch Challenge - this is her very first one too - and I have to say I LOVE that sketch!  In fact, I loved it so much my mind went totally blank when trying to make a card for it.  Anyway, I finally decided on what I was going to do.  Here's her sketch:
I'd also like to enter this in the Clean and Simple Lawnscaping Challenge. They always have great challenges.

Thanks for stopping by.............and hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Just too cute, Lynn. I think your smiling dino would be very friendly even if he did come around your house. He looks very sweet in those polka dots. But, I'm sure they can fool you. Actually, I would like to see just one real one....guess that won't happen. LOL
Your palm tree and clouds look great, too.

This is stinkin' cute! I love how you've floated the dino, tree, and sky panel in all the white space.

And DARN YOU! I've avoided that critter set until now, but this might have pushed me over the edge.

Thanks SO MUCH for playing along with my first challenge!

Love the treatment of the paper pieced dino out of the frame that you've done. And your clouds are splendid. The DP was great on this little guy and some little boy is gonna just love this one. And you can just keep all those critters down your own way. We don't want 'em in SC. Got enuff of our own, thank you bery much. Take care. TFS & Hugs
