Stamps and Smiles Blog Hop

Here is the last of the five new releases from Stamps and Smiles. All week long you have seen samples using the new sets. This has been a full week of challenges, giveaways and now our first Blog Hop, which starts now. The new releases will be available at the Stamps and Smiles store at 10 P.M. Central time after the Blog Hop.

So I would like to introduce the Cuppy Land set, which is 4 x 8 inches, a total of 15 stamps. I chose to make a little scene out of my stamps, perhaps where Cuppy lives. I did a lot of stamping and masking to create this scene. I airbrushed the sky and the grass. Did some paper piecing on the lollipops and the Cuppy icing. Added some white glaze pen for the dots, red glaze pen for the cherries. And the rest is just Copic markers. I am excited to see what the rest of the design team came up with using this set, the possibilities are endless. Finished size is 5 x 7 inches.

Now let's get this Blog Hop bouncing... if you started with my blog, you should visit Cindy Haffner's blog now, as she is starting us off so you can collect the letters in their proper order.

If you have come here from Jenn's blog, my clue for you is the letter "A".

Now hop on over to Pam's blog for your next letter. Once you have all 14 letters, please email the phrase to
stampsandsmilesstore@yahoo.com
One lucky participant will win the entire 5 set release, another lucky participant will win a $25 Stamps and Smiles Gift Certificate. The winners will be announced on Saturday, May 9th at 3:00 pm. Good luck and have fun.

Happy Birthday Cuppy - New Release from Stamps and Smiles

Here is the 4th of the five new releases from Stamps and Smiles. All week long you have seen samples using the new sets. This has been a full week of challenges, giveaways and soon our first Blog Hop, which will start Friday, May 8th at 9 pm central. The new releases will be available after the Blog Hop.

Today I would like to introduce Happy Birthday Cuppy set, which is 4 x 6 inches, a total of 16 stamps. Over on the Stamps and Smiles blog, they are hosting a sketch challenge. Be sure to check it out and play along for a chance to win more free stamps.

So here is the card I came up with using today's sketch. If you want to play along, you can link to your card with Mr Linky on the Stamps and Smiles blog. If you add your card to the SCS gallery, be sure to use the keyword "SASMR4". I used a lot of colors and masking to create this little card. Unfortunately I put my Copics away before writing down what they were. So just enjoy all the color! The DP is from Imaginesce. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Meet Carl the Cupcake - New Release from Stamps and Smiles

This week I, along with the Stamps and Smiles Design team, will be introducing 5 new stamps sets from Stamps and Smiles. All week long you will see samples using the new sets. We have a full week of challenges, giveaways and our first Blog Hop, which will start Friday, May 8th at 9 pm central. The new releases will be available after the Blog Hop.

Today I would like to introduce you to Carl the Cupcake. This set of stamps is 3 x 4 inches, a total of 6 stamps. Over on the Stamps and Smiles blog, they are hosting a sketch challenge. Be sure to check it out and play along for a chance to win free stamps.

So here is my card using the new set for today. I began by stamping Carl on Cryogen white paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Isn't he just the cutest? Of course, I colored him with my Copic markers.
Jeans - BG93
Shirt - B91, B95
Face - E00, R20
Shoes - E33
Icing - G20 and then I painted on Shimmerz for some sparkle

I cut Carl and the balloons out, popping them up on the card. I embossed the blue and darker green balloons with my Cuttlebug folders before mounting them. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Please take a moment to visit the other members of the Design Team to see what they have created with this stamp set.
