Woodware Challenge... Anything Goes!

So... when a challenge reads "anything goes" I tend to step outside of the box and let the creativity go. SOOO, that being said... I got out the Woodware Peel Off stickers and the Pearl Ex and this is what happened. I stuck the stickers onto the cardstock and then I got my Versamarker out. I colored in the empty spaces with it and then I rubbed Pearl Ex into the when I removed the stickers, this is what I was left with. I added the Merry Christmas in the corner and tied the organza ribbon. So no real stamping at all... but I did use stamping supplies... cuz ANYTHING GOES! please remember to play along with us this week and you can be entered into a drawing to win a great monthly prize! Check out the details here...

Proud As A Peacock!

An ARTful Inkables Peacock that is! I have this awesome niece that is 31 years old, a captain in the army and a doctor...WOWZA! To me she will always be like 12... but I know that she is all grown up... and now she is studying for yet another medical board exam!!! I made this clip bookmark with her in mind... be cause I am SOOOO proud! I used my nesties to cut out the scalloped circles and the regular circles. Then I stamped the images, the feathers and the sentiment with versamark and then used my trusty pearl-ex to jazz the whole thing up... and here is my creation! Check out ARTful Inkables and see the new sets including this fabby new set! Thanks for popping in!
OH YEAH... my niece is being deployed to Iraq in July... so if anyone wants to send any prayers her way... that will be awesome!

Peacocks and Paisleys and Pearl-ex... FUN!

I made this card using the Peacock Pagentry background and the Paisleys and Peacock sets from ARTful Inkables. I used versamark and stamped the image on white cardstock and then I used Pearlex to highlight the feathers and the peacock to really make them stand out. For fun, in the corners, I added dew dops and tear drops. I find that they stay adhered best if I use crystal effects. Then, I used some punched and added the sentiment from the Paisley and Peacocks set. I have so enjoyed working with these sets not only for the images but also for the way they come mounted on cling AND the handy dandy little storage case is all included in the price. Stop by ARTful Inkables today and check it out! Thanks for stopping by...
