Paper Pretties Blog Hop...Inspiration: Halloween!!!

Welcome to the blog hop! If you came here from Amber's Blog... you are in the right place... if not... please start at the Paper Pretties blog so you wont miss anything.
This is a darling new stamp from Paper Pretties... I love getting boy stamps because I have the most precious little boy and I forget how darling boy stamps can be. I colored this little guy with copic markers and I added him to this piece of patterned paper that reminded me of school doodles. I added glittery star punches and here is my creation! It was hard for me to do Halloween with this guy... but I Imagined it being my sweet little guy dressed as a basket ball player!LOL how is that for using your noodle? The next stop on the hop is Jennifer ... thanks for stopping in!!!

Double Embossing and DRS Designs Stamps!

One day at a time indeed... but lately, several have been piling up on me all at the same time! Thank goodness for my escape... STAMPING! I learned this double embossing technique and I knew that I could not wait to showcase one of DRS Designs wonderful sentiment stamps in the frame that it made. I chose One Day at a Time to remind me of... well... just that. I stamped the leaves around the outside edges to incorporate the black into my color combo and add some texture. Then, ribbon, bling and flowers to complete the look. Thanks for popping in and I hope everyone has a cheerful weekend...

Hurry Up and Make a Card??? Help me DRS!!!

I made this card using all DRS stamps and I found it in my files. I think I forgot to show y'all this one and that is too bad... BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME! Why is it awesome??? Because it is a quick one to make? Why so quick??? OK... in case ya didn't know... DRS has these awesome ribbon slides and you can do so many things with them I I stamped this one, embossed it,cut it out, painted it with SHIMMERZ and put it on some ribbon and presto... a quick and easy way to spruce up your cards and your ribbon. If you are not good at tying bows, DRS did it for you! As for the Heart frame... stamped it, embossed it and punched it with my mega and giga punches. Done... just like that! The LOVE Hearts were stamped, embossed, cut and adhered... SOOO Quick! The corner punch I had laying around the house and the punch really dresses up the front as well! So there you have it... DRS can simplify your life... QUICKLY! Hurry up and have a good one!

OH... LOOK WHAT I MADE!!! ( and how many!)

This is what I started with... and this is what I got!!! 10 super fun and sparkly Christmas cards!

There is a challenge over at Sassy Cards N Scraps... 6 weeks of Santa workshop inspiration. We were to take 2 pieces of cardstock and 2 pieces of patterned paper and make as many cards as we could out of them! I challenged myself even further to make these cards without STAMPING!!! How can that be, you say??? well, i did used some precious rub ons and of course punches, and where would I be without stickles and gel pens???

These cards were a blast to make and I love how
they turned out! If you need some inspiration...
Check out the challenges there... it was really fun

to do and i suggest (as they did on the challenge site) to use double sided paper for more options...

I am glad i played along, and now I have 10 Christmas cards out
