A sympathy card. I was inspired by the card from Queen Cindy.
Very simple!

Wild Thanks x4
We just moved and I have not made cards for 2 weeks! I finally got a chance today and so I made up for lost time!!!! I used 3 challenges and I made 4 cards. I wanted to make a bunch of cards for the people who helped us move! I hope they are kind of masculine!
The first challenge is the "kissing technique". Full directions and details are on this post at Splitcoast Stampers. I inked up my solid images from "Wild About You" with one color (yellow, green or kraft) and then inked my "Woodgrain" stamp with a darker color (orange, dark green and suede). You press the inked stamps together and then stamp onto paper. The woodgrain was a fun one to use because then I could add fun texture to the animals. Here are the four animals I did...
Here's the full set of four! I placed the sentiments and brads slightly different on each to accomodate the images. I used 2 clean and simple challenges - "at the zoo" and "green, chocolate and ivory". It was great to make some quick and simple cards.
Here's a close up of the one. It is kind of hard from any of these pics to see the texture on the animals. The animals are all popped up on dimensionals. I used the stripes embossing folder for the green layer.

2 CAS DT entries

Here are two cards I made for the Clean and Simple design team tryout.
The first card was to make a "beach" scene and also have an image popped up.
I pieced my boat and also popped up the sail with Stampin Dimensionals.

This second card was for a color challenge - Chocolate, Peach and Sand.
I did "faux stitching" around the edge. The oranges and sentiment are embossed with white and I added 2 rhinestones on my card.

Two CAS circle cards

Today's Clean & Simple Challenge on Splitcoast was "out of the box" technique. I got to be the Guest Designer this week and I had lots of fun with this!

I stamped the snowboarder and embossed with black. I traced a circle on the back of it and cut around the circle and around the parts that "stuck out" of the circle. I used a baja breeze circle to layer behind it just a little bit and then a larger Elegant Eggplant circle.
I created the "snow" with French Filigree background. 3 brads finished it off.

Another card with "out of the circle"! I stamped and embossed this image in white. I cut around the circle and around the top of the flower. I cut out the green and paper pieced it on top.

I put two strips of scallop trim punch white on a white base. Used some elegant black satin ribbon and a few buttons. This set is "Because I Care" (hostess set)

2 CAS silhouette cards
I made these two clean and simple cards for the challenge to make a CAS card using silhouettes. I love how both of them turned out!

I embossed the wolf and used a circle mask to sponge color on. The sentiment has variation of orange, red and black (which is hard to tell from the photo). I punched it with an oval and popped it up.

The tree on this is embossed. I added some cheerful buttons. The sentiment is popped up. I used crimping and piercing.

2 for 1 CAS

I made two cards for today's Clean & Simple sketch challenge.
This card uses Tart & Tangy and Short & Sweet stamp sets. I also used my new textured embossing folder. There's piercing and knotted ribbon. Have a closer look...

I ran out of baby cards, so I thought I'd make one with this sketch using a teddy bear from the wonderful retired set Bundle of Joy.

I also used a bit of sparkly designer paper. I tied a tiny bow with kraft ribbon. I did a bit of piercing and scallop trim border punch. I popped up the head of the bear. Here's a closer look...

Thanks for looking at these 2 today. Have a great day.

Shadow Stamped Tree

Here's my card for Fall To Layout from Clean and Simple Stamping. I love this layout! The colors are from Color Dare - Tempting Turquoise (I used Bermuda Bay), Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Basic Black.
I stamped the tree first in white, then used my stamp-a-ma-jig to position a black tree slightly off where the first one was. The tree is from Forest Friends (very versatile!) The sentiment is from Starring You and I punched it out with word window punch and used brads at each end. I used my crimper for the Bermuda Bay panel on the side and some Bermuda Bay polka dot ribbon.

Here's a close up so you can see some of the details better.

Sweet and simple skunk

I was looking for a very simple and easy to reproduce layout. I found this cute card by Cheryl L Rowley on Splitcoast Stampers.
My card uses Tall Tales DSP and crushed curry. Who ever knew Crushed Curry could look so good! (It's one of my least favorite colors!) I used a clear rhinestone in the center of the flower and two punches - corner rounder and the new Scallop Trim punch.
Very simple and quick and looks fun and cute.

Krafty Fall To Layout

Here's a great Fall To Layout that I finally found a way to use! I check out this site every Friday to find great Clean & Simple layouts! http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/
I flipped the sketch this week so the ribbon would be in the bare patch on my card. I love how the sentiment was on the panel. I would have never thought to combine a big and small sentiment like that otherwise.
This card was also for another challenge which was to make a SIMPLE FAVORITE card. Here were the requirements:
- Use your favorite 2 colors +1 neutral
- Use only 1 favorite stamp set
- Only 2 layers
- No DSP
- 1 favorite embellishment
Whew! I did it!
The flowers I stamped on scrap paper so they'd be lighter, then I rock n rolled it so the edges of the flower would be slightly darker.
The ribbon I created by cutting it into pieces, then gluing together. The ribbon is NOT one continuous piece tied into a bow.
I also popped up the whole panel for an extra bit of 3D. I'm quite excited with how this turned out. Thanks for looking!

Bermuda/Red Christmas
Here's a cute clean & simple card I made!
Stampin Up! supplies: Snow Swirled, Season of Joy, scallop edge punch, ribbon, brads
Colors: White, Bermuda Bay, Ruby Red, Black, Silver
I kept the layout quite simple.
The fun technique I used here was to stamp a bunch of images all over and overlapping, then cut it into squares. I laid the squares out so that the images continue onto the next square, but you could mix and match them around too.
