DDC 47 "Winter Blues"

Good morning all!  I am back to show you a card I have for the latest challenge over at Digi Darla's this week!!

 It's all about those WINTER BLUES!! 

We want to see mostly BLUE colors being used on your creation of choice.

Now I wasn't going to let the "Winter Blues" get to me completely.  :)  I chose to do a New Baby Boy card as you can see adding just a hint of red for some pop!!  But my card is 90% blue, so I'm good.  And new Babies are happy!  No singing the blues here.

I also had some help with a sketch from Deconstructed Sketch #86.  First time playing with these Ladies!!  Thanks for the great sketch.

And... I always like to see what my friends are up to from 4 Crafty Chicks.  This week it's all about buttons.  I managed to get 2 on my card.  3 pearls too!  But those aren't exactly buttons.

Lasting Memories # 124 with sketchy help from Boys Rule Scrapbooking

Our son just started playing basketball for a team this year for the first time. He is having fun and is finally able to use his skills he does have on a court rather than just on our cement driveway.  He is young and learning and we are waiting for that first 2 points to happen.  (from him)  He is a good passer/dribbler!!  :)

I am also entering my layout over with everyone at Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits.  They have this great sketch for January!!

Hi everyone!  Today I bring you the latest challenge over at Digi Darla's!!  It's a simple one really!!

I used a fun Digi Darla sentiment called "Be Happy to Creative"

This card actually fits me so well.  Or at least everything I strive to be.  I was thinking I was going to give this to one of my creative friends, but the more I look at it, I just may give it to myself.  :)  Maybe frame it?  Or I just may make 2!!  Now that you all have let my mind wander on here a little... (Thanks.)  

I also found 2 other challenges that inspired me with my card...

ColourQ # 172 - Melon Mambo, Summer Starfruit, Poppy Parade, Basic Gray + White.  These colors just wake me right up!!

DDC 45 - ANYTHING GOES!! "Thinking of you" Card

Oh my it's the start of the week again!!  Well that brings me to share with you the newest challenge over at Digi Darla's!!

Pretty simple this week...

ANYTHING GOES!!

I used a Digi Darla image called "Remember the Fight."  I kept this pretty simple with the ribbon, hearts and the color pink being the main focus.  This is for someone that I have known for 41 years of my life.  She is fighting Breast Cancer and going through all of the main treatments now.  

I also used the latest sketch from Freshly Made Sketches # 68.

I changed their rectangle shape card into a square for my needed purposes.
