Summer is drawing to a close and the kiddies will soon be back to school, so how about heading out for that one last splash!
Here we go, with a Magnolia stamp and water colours for the medium. Made good use of the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares dies and a bit of glitter pen for the edging. A bow, a charm and a pretty DP...all from my stash, help to set the scene.
So go ahead, dip those toes one more time.... Have a great day!

Thoughts of winter...
Another beautiful summer's day...and after a bit of rain late yesterday, the temperatures seem a bit more comfortable. I'd better get outside while I can, as the heat and humidity this year have been unbearable. I'm a spring and fall weather person, but those seasons seem to be extremely short-lived any more. Oh well, must be time for a Christmas card. Just think, soon we'll be able to complain about the cold!
Here, I've used a Magnolia stamp and water colours, with some added flocking for the fuzzy bits on her hat. A simple card design, using a die cut mat to create a frame and some gold peel-offs to provide a bit of sparkle.
Using:
Spellbinders - Romantic Rectangles die
Elizabeth Craft Designs - Merry Christmas die
Here's hoping I'm bringing you cool thoughts..ha ha. Have a great weekend and take care.

Bundle up...
Although I might have been (wishful) thinking it was spring, now we have a not too gentle reminder that it's only February. A nasty cold spell is settling in, which means staying inside.... only braving the cold if really necessary! So I thought a wintry Christmas card might be in order.
Here, I have used a much older Magnolia stamp along with some DP scraps from my stash. Those chubby little cheeks would have to be well covered with today's weather, and really it's much too cold for playing outside. Our schools actually keep the kids inside for recess when it is this cold.
I've used the Memory Box Frosty Border die (so appropriate) and their Precious Hearts die....because it's Valentine's! The image is coloured with water colours then cut and matted using Spellbinders dies. As you can see, I've made good use of some little extra Christmas stamps to dress up the white areas.
Thanks for stopping by again. Be sure to bundle up and try to stay warm.

To you and yours
The sun may be shining....but it is much too cold outside for me....brrrr. Must mean it's crafting time!
A Magnolia stamp and some water colours today. I've used the 'out of the box' technique to cut out the image, using the Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die, which gave me some blank space to stamp a message. The placement of the background DP also gave me more blank space to add more stamping.
Thanks for stopping by....stay warm!

Wrapped Presents
Well, I've been outside to clear the snow off the walks and the car, and I even went for the mail. That's it for me...now a sit down and a hot coffee. I could have waited, as it looks like it might melt away, but knowing my luck it would change it's mind and freeze into a slippery mess.
Here I have another Christmas card (still not finished!) with a reminder of what is still to come...wrapping presents. I'm thinking I might start on that this afternoon. I've played with water colours again, and the 'out of the box' technique for the image.
Some supplies used:
Magnolia stamp - Tilda with gifts
Martha Stewart - Crown punch around the page and Pine Branch
Spellbinders die - Labels Eighteen
Memory Box die - Frosty Border
Elizabeth Craft die - Merry Christmas
Hoping you all have a wonderful weekend, and find some time to put your feet up. Take care.
