You and me together forever

Sorry this is so late today but I was getting so frustrated that I could not get what I considered a good pic of my card today. I loved how my card turned out and it was making me mad because I didnt think that all my coloring details were showing up as well on other photos I had taken. Anywho I went to Mamas today and snapped a few pics of my card using her light tent and got a much better pic to share with you. Im gonna get this indoor photographing of my cards one of these days yall just bear with me!LOL!!

A sweet friend of mine I work with got married over the summer out of state and I didnt get a chance to go. Since we go back to school in 2 weeks I wanted to make her a card to give her. I thought this Tiddly Inks you and me image was perfect for her. I colored the image to look like her and her new hubby. I dont make alot of elegant type cards so I had to dig for some dp to pair with this image!LOL! This retired SU parisian breeze (I think thats the name of it) dp was perfect. I've been practicing on coloring folds in clothes and I wanted her dress to have a more champagne look than white so I used the e40-e43 for her dress. Im so happy with how her dress turned out!! I used this card as a guide where to place my folds. I can color the folds if they are drawn into the stamp but I have a hard time with placing them in the right place without it. This is actually the first time I've tried to color them like this so Im pretty proud. Thanks Cheryl! Of course it had to have sparkle too so I added some SU dazzling diamonds glitter. I used 2 pearls and 2 primas for todays 2 by 2 challenge and I also used this months sfytt for my layout.

Heavy Metal Joy

I was so happy when I saw todays WT challenge heavy metal. I've been wanting to play along with this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges joy fold and I knew the hh fastener would be perfect! I had colored this Lilli Claire image (inspired by Make it Colorful unusual hair colors) last week for the color throwdown challenge but never got to finish it. I just love her pink hair!! She reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake!LOL! I paired her with urban prairie dp and used the sentiment from PTI little lady. I used my MS butterfly punch and added a rhinestone to the center. I also pulled out some of my colored brads for the heavy metal challenge and used my SU celery brads and some rose red brads I got a long time ago from Pink Hedgehog Paper crafts. Since this card has more than one fold Im also playing along with this weeks anything goes challenge. Love when everything works out and I can get 3 challenges into 1 card! Oh and I actually plan on playing along with Make it colorful unusual hair color challenge since I had so much fun coloring up her pink hair!LOL! Yall know I LOVE coloring me some hair! Brigitta Cupcake

I thought I'd give yall a break from my Tiddly Inks images and show you something else tonight!LOL! But I will be back with some more TI images soon...Before I get onto the card I wanted to let yall know that Amber Ink that I had the privilege of being a DT member of is having their 1st bday celebration this week on their Amber Inklings blog. For todays card I used a new to me image Cupcake Brigitta from ATS. Now yall know I love me some swiss pixies!LOL! I got the EK success cupcake border punch awhile back from Michaels and was waiting for the perfect cupcake image to pair it with. I combined Brigitta with some American Crafts dp (I think!?). This is also another one of the cards I made awhile back so of course I dont have the list of copics. I did lots of sponging with antique linen on this card though. The Happy bday sentiment is from an old retired SU set birthday banter. Well thats it for me today. Hubby and kiddos are out fishing so Im sooo enjoying a quiet house!!Ahhhhh!!LOL!! Have a good one!
