Floral Textured Circle - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! It's time for another leftover card! Yesterday I shared a card with a fun technique using a few different items from Simon Says Stamp - I had some extra pieces left, and put them together with some other supplies to create this airy and bright card! This time the floral arrangement is more dimensional, instead of adhered to the acetate with the collage medium. But both versions have their own unique appeal! I can't decide which one I like best! :)

I started off with the circle of light blue pattern paper that was leftover from the window I cut in yesterday's card, and some extra florals and leaves from the same pattern paper and Wildflower Bucket and Country Basket Bouquet dies. I tucked them all around that die cut circle, adhering with liquid glue. I matted that on the larger die cut white circle - also leftover from yesterday's card! I added that onto a white panel embossed with the Dotted Spiral embossing folder, using the debossed side facing up. I added sentiments from Reverse Beautiful Friend EZ strips sentiment strips, trimming the larger sentiment in half and tucking it in from opposite sides. I finished off by embellishing the centers of the flowers with coordinating Dazzling Gems in Sunbeam and Royal. Here are more photos of the finished card:

Framed Birthday Trio - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I often struggle to have good masculine cards in my stash, so I thought it was high time to replenish the supply! I broke out some fun goodies from Simon Says Stamp and set to work the other day, and created quite a few! This is the first that I'll be sharing in 3 installments over the next few days! And it's one of those times where one set of cards led to another - all the way to using up the leftovers. My favorite!

I started off by grabbing Square Shaker Shapes to create some pattern paper frames. I taped the two dies together so they would stay consistent, then die cut 3 pieces of pattern paper, and 3 extra from white cardstock to layer together. This way the frames are a bit more sturdy for popping up with foam! For the background, I embossed some Lawn Fawn Speckled Eggshell cardstock with the Twinkling Stars embossing folder from the Rainbow Splash collection for some subtle texture. I layered up another strip of those pattern papers on the side, then splattered with a touch of black splatter. Once that dried, I popped up my frames on a diagonal with foam adhesive strips. The sentiments are an older Happy Birthday sentiment die, cut from black cardstock for the shadow layer, and Honey Gold cardstock for the front layer. I added secondary sentiments from Reverse EZ Strips Birthday, cut with the EZ Strips Banners die, then finished off with a few coordinating Enamel Dots to accent! Here is a closer look at each of these finished cards:

He is Risen - Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Easter Card Kit

Good morning! I've got one more card to share using the BRAND NEW and Limited Edition Easter Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp, plus one of the add-ons that are available separately!

When I was looking through the pretty pattern papers, this one caught my eye, and felt like it would fit so well with the Reverse Blessed Easter sentiment strips that are available separately but released at the same time. There is one sheet of the regular version of these in the kit, but I loved the contrast with the black on the reverse ones. I trimmed the pattern paper into a strip, then backed it with a slightly larger strip of another sheet of pattern paper. I love how the small gingham design almost looks like a scalloped border! I added the sentiment strips that were die cut with the EZ Strips Slanted rectangles, and a good sprinkle of Clear Dazzling Gems to finish off! Here is a closer look at this finished card:

Bold Beautiful Friend - Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Moments Release

Hello! Today I've got a bold and graphic card design featuring a die from the recent Beautiful Moments Release from Simon Says Stamp, paired with some fun Simon Says Stamp colored cardstocks!

I found a color combo on Pinterest that caught my interest, and when I was deciding how to use it, it struck me that it would be fun to just layer up the colored cardstock to match the inspiration piece! I don't seem to have saved it, or I would share a link to it here - sorry about that! But I used Island Blue, Lemon Chiffon, Sunshine, Orange Peel, and Lipstick cardstocks to create the background. Next, I pulled out the new Beautiful Friend die and cut the shadow layer from black for some good contrast, and the detail layer from Altenew Moonstone glitter cardstock for sparkle. I wrapped some Vivant Silver thread around and tied in a bow before adding the sentiment with foam adhesive. I added a secondary sentiment from Reverse Beautiful Friend Sentiment Strips, and finished off with a few Clear Dazzling gems for extra sparkle! Here is a closer look at the finished card:
