Aloe and Oranges

Hello Everyone!  Today I have a brand new digital image from Power Poppy!  This one is called Aloe and Oranges is just the first of several new beautiful images that is being released this week!  Just wait until you see all the amazing work from the Bloom Brigade, you are going to LOVE them believe me!

I've used a base of white card and layered with light green, topped with white card cut with Divine Eloquence Die.  The next panel is X-press It Blending Card that I've printed the Aloe and Oranges on, coloured with Copics and then die cut with Decorative Labels 28.  I've matted this with green die cut with Labels 28 and popped it all up on X-press It Foam Tape.   Next I've stamped the sentiment from Tea in the Garden clear stamp set in Vintage Sepia ink and cut to size and popped up on foam tape.

It's Your Day!

Hello Everyone!  After a rough year, I have finally got out my markers and pencils and coloured this big, beautiful bloom from Power Poppy!  It is so commanding of center stage that I really didn't have to do much else to make this shine!

I have a white base and cream layer.  The next layer started as a piece of white card which I then used a blender brush and some Bundled Sage, Brushed Corduroy and a touch of Peacock Feathers.  I've stamped the sentiment from Strong and Beautiful in Vintage Sepia ink in the corner.  Next I've die cut the 'bricks' using white card and Texture 4 Die by Paper Rose.  I've stamped the flower and leaves from Abundant Petals (FYI, this flower also comes in Digital - Big Flouncy Peony) in black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics and some pencil, fussy cut (because I masked this instead of using the matching die!  D'OH!) and then popped up on foam tape.  To finish I've added a few cream sequins.

Stamps - Abundant Petals, Strong and Beautiful (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Black, Versafine Vintage Sepia, Distress Inks: Bundled Sage, Brushed Corduroy, Peacock Feathers
Paper - X-press It Blending card, White, Cream
Accessories - Paper Rose Texture 4 Die, Cream Sequins, X-press It Foam Tape

Power Poppy Friday

Hello Everyone!!  It's Power Poppy Friday and I have a Covered Journal to share with you today!  For this project I've used the Strong and Beautiful Stamp Set because I thought this large, amazing image would be perfect on a notebook!

I've used a large Spirax hardcovered notebook and covered with some Fab Scraps paper from my stash.  Across this is some pink punched with a border punch topped with white and the reverse of the patterned paper.  The feature panel is white layered with pink die cut with Elegant Labels Four.  Next I've added a panel of white, die cut with Grand Labels Four (Retired) and airbrushed with green Copic.  I've die cut the Letters K and H and airbrushed them with Copic while still in the die.  Finally I've stamped the image from Strong and Beautiful Stamp Set and coloured with Copics and pencils then carefully fussy cut out and popped up on foam tape!

Soothing Sympathy

Hello Everyone!  Recently I had to sadly make two sympathy cards, so I went with the same style and just changed the colours.

I've used a cream card for the base and die cut with Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles.  I love how you can use these for a card front.  Behind the die cut, I've used the largest die to cut green and blue card for each.  Next I've chosen some matching patterned paper for each, die cut using the same set.  Next I've die cut more cream card using the next die in the set.  Finally I've stamped the forget-me-nots in blue and the rosemary in green both from Soothing Sympathy onto cream card and then stamped the sentiment also from Soothing Sympathy in rich cocoa over the top and die cut with the next die in the set.  I've wrapped matching ribbon around each and finished with a bow.

Stamps - Soothing Sympathy (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento New Sprout, Summer Sky and Rich Cocoa
Paper - Cream, Green, Blue, Kaisercraft and Wild Rose Studio
Accessories - Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles, Blue and Green Ribbons, Bow Easy, Glue
