Happy Tuesday! I've got another sneak peek for you from Paper Makeup Stamps. Today we are sneaking the new Beautiful Day Fairies. There are two new ones plus another in the new January kit (which you'll see on Thursday) that you will fall in love with. I have Sasha the Skating Fairy to show you today.
I don't say this too often, but I really love this card! I wasn't sure of its outcome while I was working on it, but once I added that velvet ric rac ribbon and flower, I just went "ahhhh!" Did that ever happen to you? I'm sure it did!
I took the colors of light pink, yellow, and peach from Mona's CR84FN color challenge. The colors just grabbed me...I've always loved peach. My bridesmaids wore peach in my wedding (it was the '90s!) and I just love that soft color. So I used blush blossom cardstock and ran it through the swirls folder and paired it with paper from Basic Grey's Porcelain paper pad. I colored Sasha accordingly.
The layout is from Jen del Muro's Sketch for You to Try. She's going to monthly sketches (which makes me sad, but I know it's difficult to keep up with weekly demands) and just LOVE her sketches. I used a new tool on this card that I've had but have not used. It's My Favorite Thing's Die-namics rolled flower die (they must be out of stock because I couldn't find it in their store). It took me a while to figure out how to use it, but I managed to get it right. I cut it out of the blush blossom cardstock and added a pearl in the middle. I also addes star dust stickles around it...so pretty! The ribbon was gifted to me by Bonnie Sharp and it's from Sharon Johnson's store.I'm also entering this in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #15 to use something new and ribbon. Well, the die, the ribbon, and the Sasha fairy are all new!
You can see more sneak peeks on the PMS blog. Randee, Jami (our newest PMS DT member!), Lisa M, Maria, and Simonne are all posting today, so stop over to their blogs as well. Don't forget the new release will be available on Friday, January 7th. We're having our blog hop that day as well as our Release Party starting at 9:00 pm EST. We'd love for you to join us in the PMS forum for some fun!
Thanks for stopping in today!

I love this mailbox! So quick and easy to color up and put together! I don't know if you can tell, but I gave the mailbox some dimension by cutting out an extra heart and flag and adhering it with some dimensional silicone gel. I added star dust stickles for some sparkle and a few pearls in each corner. The sentiment is part of the set as well. I love this paper from October Afternoon! So pretty and feminine. The sketch is from this week's

I had to get creative with that flower image because I was using this tree! The image actually has a tree trunk, but I didn't ink up that part of the image. I paper pieced it with a piece of Jovial dp from Basic Grey. I used some pearls to mimic the stem in the sketch. I didn't have room on the bottom of the card for the three pearls, so I added them (plus one!) on the upper corner. The sentiment is from

Isn't this a beautiful sentiment? I wanted to go traditional with the colors...I think these are traditional! My starting point was this great paper from the Domestic Goddess Collection from Graphic 45 and the Sketch for You to Try from last week.

These Moody girls are so crazy to color! You can really use your imagination when coloring them! I couldn't make out what some of the things were that she is holding, but it didn't matter because I am the artist coloring it, right? No need to be intimidated! So I just colored in two shades of brown and two shades of pink. (I guess I'm in a pink and brown mood...my post yesterday used these colors, and I think I'm going to wear pink and brown to work today!) The sentiment is also new this month from a set called

He reminds me of an English schoolboy...think of Prince William and Prince Harry. I colored him to match this dp I just purchased this weekend. It's the Communique Collection from Graphic 45. I wanted an old-school or formal look to this card, and this paper was perfect. It also sort of reminds me of a Burberry pattern. The layout is from this week's SCS sketch. The red pieces were run through Canvas Impression plate from PTI and I just added the black pearls. The sentiment is also a new one this month.

I used the sketch in conjuntion with a new sentiment set being released this month by PMS called

So I tried to create something that looked like this. How did I do?
I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to place the stems and leaves, then stamped the flowers on a scrap piece of paper and colored them with copics. I cut them out and placed them on the card. I did not use dimensionals...I just curled the edges of the petals a bit for dimension. I added star dust stickles to the centers. The sentiment is a freebie you get with your PMS order this month! The card is a 4" square. You can see more sneaks on the
