Wild Animals Birthday Cards

Hello and happy fall!!  I would have to say my favorite season is fall.  There is just a feel to the air that draws me in.  Anyway, today I'm sharing a set of cards:

All the cards feature Stampin' Up's Biggest Wish for the sentiments.  I really like this set.

My critters are from a stamp set that came in the Creative Stamping Magazine Issue 78 from Paperwishes.

These were fun for me since I don't usually use these types of animals on cards.  More realistic.

I don't remember where the papers are from, but I think they are sort of retro looking.  Super simple layouts but I think they came out ok.

Hippo Got Cake card

Hello.  Today I would like to share a birthday card.

Quite a while back, I made a purchase from Paper Wishes.  It's sort of like a card kit, called Summertime Gumdrops, with papers, die cuts, and something called Dazzles.  So the hippo and sentiment are from this kit, and the layout is made using an MFT Die-Namics set (used in my trusty Cuttlebug).

The black hippo portion is the Dazzle that I put on white cardstock, colored with Copics, and fussy cut.  The sentiment is also a Dazzle that I put directly on the DP.  The Dazzles are shiny, and I actually quite like them.  I popped up the hippo for a little dimension.

Hooray Note with Paper Wishes

Hello and happy Monday!  I don't know about you, but I had a busy weekend cleaning.  And I feel quite accomplished.

For today, I would like to share a card I made using Summertime Gumdrops from Paper Wishes - it's sort of like a kit, but not exactly.  It was on sale and I just couldn't pass it up.

I used the paper and several punch-out elements from the "kit" and I used a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin stamps (hooray and it's your day), and fussy cut the larger sentiment and popped it up for added dimension.

There is plenty of dimension on this one.  A little sewing and done.  The hard part is having all these wonderful papers and punch-outs and figuring out how to put something together.  This one reminds me of school for some reason.
