Welcome to Magnolia-licious Group

First lets start off with a little introduction to who is who here at the group.
My name is deb and I started this group in June 2008...NEVER in my wildest dreams it would become so huge! So I guess that makes me the owner of a forever growing group! I was a big fan of the ScorPal, which I also started a group for that, another huge success. Who doesn't love their SP! When Diana said she was going to start selling those cute Magnolia stamps..I jumped in and asked if I could start this group. She was so excited and so it began. Our group is very active with swaps, mingles, challenges, secret Santa and many RAKS & BRAKS, Magnolia Christmas All Year Long and Magnolia Measuring Cup. I have THE best mods any owner could have! Chris..my right hand gal! Lillian, Anne & Julie, (who runs the Chrismtas All Year Long challenge and blog) and Kay, (who runs the Magnolia Measuring Cup swap and blog) and Carlotta. These gals work so hard to make things run smooth and their creativeness runneth over and make this group great! Of course I cannot forget our members, if it wasn't for them..we would have no group. They are creative, kind, informative and so helpful!
And of course Diana..If it wasn't for her and her great invention & the love for Magnolia stamps..we wouldn't be here either. Diana has the ScorPal site and the Magnolia-licious store and blog. You can find links to each on the side bar.

All groups need rules..and I have laid out the rules of the group below. Please do not be offened with any rule. With so many members, rules are an important part of running a great group.

Our reply to the group is set up as follows:
*"Reply" will go to the single person you are replying to.
**"Reply ALL" will go to the group.

NEW MEMBERS:

New members are asked to post within 2 days of joining. We also suggest new members read back through the archives of messages. Then go to FILES, DATABASE, PHOTO'S and LINKS and read on our activities. Please do not post your pictures in the FILES.

REPLYING TO POSTS:

Replying to posts.. as above...Reply goes to sender only, Reply ALL goes to group. When you reply to a post or digest, please remove (edit) everything but a line or two that pertains to the issue you wish to discuss and please remember to change the SUBJECT LINE when the subject changes. If you are commenting on a card/question...Please reply to sender, not the whole group! One liner posts to the group will be deleted! Please use black type only, colored is hard for some members to read. Absolutely no stationery! Stationery tends to distort the email making it very hard to read for some members.

SIGNING POSTS:

You must sign all of your posts or you will be on moderated status. If you use a Blackberry or similar devise replace the "sent to you via" etc. message with your name. If you don't know how to change that line, go to http://att.blackberry.com/ and make the change.

SIGNATURE LINES:

Your name is to be on the top line. ALL POSTS ARE TO BE SIGNED.

PROHIBITED POSTS:

Prohibited posts include ALL...FLAMING, cross posting, Internet humor, jokes, virus hoaxes, spam and political and religious opinions. DO NOT post pictures of work that is not yours, instead post the url where members can go see the work. No posting about group ordering or swapping images.

GROUPLY:

Because of all the problems associated with "Grouply", all members with an email grouply.com WILL be removed from the group. No questions. This is the only way to protect our members from spam and theft of their accounts and to ensure the stabiltiy of our group. Anyone sending a post through to the group about joining Grouply will be unsubbed...NO QUESTIONS.

COPYRIGHTS:

Copyright is a legal issue and we do not wish to get involved with legalities. We MUST abide by the laws and Yahoo's TOS (terms of service). Read Yahoo's TOS if you want to know more. Do not copy someones message to another group. The copyright for any group message is owned by the message originator, not you and posting them is a copyright infringement. DO NOT offer to stamp off any images for other members. NO asking for stamped images from other members.

Do not offer another members guidance in any matter. If they wish to help, they can post it themselves to the group.

BOUNCING MEMBERS:

From time to time email accounts bounce. It is up to you to reactivate your account. Members will be removed after 3 activation notices and will have to re-apply to join the group.

SOCIAL NETWORKING:

If you belong or join a social networking group, and we receive a message to "be my friend", etc., you will be unsubbed. You can rejoin with a new email address.

ADVERTISING:

No advertising other groups, stamp companies or online shops. This group is for Magnolia Stamps. We support Diana at Magnolia-licious store. She has the best prices around. Her service is over the top. If you have any questions regarding your Magnolia-licious order, please contact her privately and not through the group. You can find her email address at the store.

BLOGGING:

If you have questions about creating or maintaining your blog, please do not post your questions to the group. Google your question and read. There are many groups out there for explaining new blogging techniques and maintaining a blog. Anyone posting about help with blogging, will be put on moderated status and posts will be deleted. Any questions about this...please contact me.. deb, address below.

BUY-SELL-TRADE:

Is not allowed on this group. Anyone BST will be placed on moderated status.

MODERATED STATUS:

Everyone that joins the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group is on moderated status until they post a certain amount of posts. If you do not see your post right away, PLEASE do not re post! We all have a life away from our computers and will approve your message as soon as we can.

If you have posted and it is not acceptable for our group...your post will be deleted. No EXCEPTIONS-NO EXPLANATIONS. If you have read the Magnolia-licious rules..you will know what is acceptable and what is not.

QUESTIONS:

If you have a question about something that was posted previously...check back through the message archives. You will find it. DO NOT post to the group until you have done your research. If you have questions about a swap, mingle, challenge, check the files for directions. This is your responsibility to know what is going on before you sign up. If you signed up for an activity, you cannot be on Special Notices, No Mail. You have to be on individual emails or digest. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you "flake" on an activity, you loose all privileges for joining in on another for 6 months.
