This card is for the Crooked Stamper Sketch Challenge. I know Leslie, the challenge creator, through Operation Write Home and various exchanges on Twitter. Funny lady. Maybe one day we'll meet in person.
4 leaves stacked together give them a bit of bulk, and sponged edges provide definition.
Hampton Art - Autumn is in the Air (sentiment)
Lawn Fawn - Stitched Leaves
Carta Bella - A Perfect Autumn (6x6 paper pad)
Stampin' Up - card stock
Ranger - Walnut Stain Distress Ink, clear embossing powder
Versafine - Onyx Black Ink

Love it! I might be able to handle Fall, but not Halloween or Christmas, yet. Such pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing my CS Sketch Challenge!
Love this card, Dixie. Nice idea to stack the leaves and sponge them. They look so real. Enjoy your Labor Day. I wish Autumn was in the air. We are starting with a heat wave today. I'm ready for Fall.
ReplyDeleteLove the fun paper mix and the colors are perfect!
ReplyDeleteAutumn colors are my favorites, and your card makes me smile. I hope cool, crisp autumn weather is on its way soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the die cut leaves -- the paper color, the inked edges and stacking for "pop"! Great card. I should make a card. ;-)
