Another view underwater............

Hello world,

Today another sea creation made with the lovely stamps of designs by Ryn. This time I have used the  ' fish called Wanda', it's an Angel fish. I also used the fish scales structure stamp and the 'School of fish set' of designs by Ryn. The fish scales on the left side were stamped with the Acrylic glaze ' Iridescent Blue which gives a lovely shine.

And like last time I've colored the fish with Twinkling H2O's. And again I've used a stencil and the Viva Crystal Holographic gel. You can easily apply it with a palette knife.........

The background was made using fluid inks and some salt......

Vandaag een andere creatie gemaakt met de mooie designs van Ryn. Deze keer heb ik de ' fish called Wanda' gebruikt. Het is een Angel vis. Ik heb ook de  fish scales structuur stempel en de 'School of fish set' van designs by Ryn gebruikt. De fishscales aan de linkerzijde zijn gestempeld met de Acrylic Glaze Iridiscent Blue van Colourarte.

En net zoals vorige keer heb ik de vissen gekleurd met de Twinkling H2O's. Ook hier weer een stencil gebruikt met de Viva Crystal holografische gel. Je kunt dit gemakkelijk aanbrengen met een paletmes.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met vloeibare inkten en wat zout.......

Hier kun je goed het verschil in lichtval zien bij de twee vissen, de bovenste vis laat het effect van de H2O's goed zien.........

Wonderful sea world.........designs by Ryn

Finally some time to play with the beautiful designs of Ryn. I have played with the Butterfly fish ......not made in the original colour but a fantasy version that matched the background. I have colored the fish with the Twinkling H2O's from Colour Arte. It's a shame I can't entirely catch the lovely shimmer!

I also used the Spiral shell and the rising bubbles from designs of Ryn.

I also used the Viva Kristal gel and a stencil. The Viva kristal gel has some lovely Mica pieces in it which creates great effects.

Eindelijk weer eens wat tijd om met de mooie designs van Ryn te spelen. Ik heb nu de  Butterfly fish  gebruikt......niet bepaald de originele kleur maar een fantasie kleur dat mooi bij de achtergrond paste. Ik heb de vissen gekleurd met Twinkling H2O's van Colourarte. Het is jammer dat je op de foto's de glans niet optimaal kunt zien.

Ik heb ook de  Spiral shell en de rising bubbles van design by Ryn gebruikt. Ryn heeft veel zee thema stempels in haar collectie.

Ook heb ik weer eens de mooie Viva Kristal holografische gel tevoorschijn gehaald en verwerkt met een stencil. Ik blijf het een super product vinden.

I have colored the spiral shells using Silks acrylic glazes ' Irresistible Iridescence' and used two colors,; Violet and Blue. From the Colourarte website:

What makes Silks Acrylic Glaze so special?

It's the secret mix of mica and other proprietary mineral particles that refract light, like a crystal.

How do Silks work?
Silks are easy to use paints that create a semi-gloss glaze - not too shiny, not too flat, but just right.
Simply brush Silks onto your project, using a wide brush for broad strokes or a fine brush for details. Or use a brayer if you want even wider swaths of color.
Allow Silks to dry between colors to keep the glaze layers distinct and create depth, or blend the colors while still wet if you prefer that effect.

What surfaces are suitable for Silks?
It's a long list. Silks are formulated for paper, wood, pre-washed fabrics, papier mache, acrylic and other plastics, canvas, gourds, silk and silk ribbon, terra cotta, paper-clay, air-dry clay, air-dry polymer, leather, faux leather, and more.

Hi there,

Today some creations inspired by the wonderful sea! All stamps from Impression Obsession and a few for the center image from Magenta. Those wild herbs are lovely and very detailed.

We have made an A5 sized notebook at the Posthumus shop in Amsterdam. There were two colourcombi's which they could make.

First a ' sandy' version with shades of brown and grey.......many layers, many stamps and resist embossing. We also made an embellishment with a technique tile and triple embossing with Wow pearl embossing powder.

Vandaag wat creaties geïnspireerd door de geweldige zee! Allemaal stempels van Impression Obsession en op de middelste afbeelding Magenta stempels. Deze mooie takken zijn zo gedetailleerd .

We hebben A5 note boekjes bekleed tijdens de workshop bij de Posthumuswinkel in Amsterdam. Er waren twee kleuren combinaties om uit te kiezen.

Eerst een ' zanderige' versie met bruin en grijstinten.......veel lagen met veel soorten stempels en resist embossing. We hebben ook een mooi embellishment gemaakt met een techniek tile en deze drie keer geembosst met pearl poeders van Wow.

Alle stempels zijn te koop bij de Posthumus winkel in Amsterdam! Op de website zijn ze meestal niet allemaal te vinden, gewoon even een emailtje met de gewenste stempels of nog leuker......even een bezoek aan die mooie winkel!

A lot of masking and direct coloring onto the rubber stamp with water based markers and misting with water

Veel maskeren hierbij en direct gekleurd met Tombo stiften op het rubber en wat nat gesprayd.
