Hiihtäjä - Ski Jump

Nyt vähän talvisempiin tunnelmiin. Meidän nuorimmainen täyttää tässä kuussa 4 vuotta ja tein hänelle tällaisen synttärikortin. Leimakuva on Lili of the Valleyn Ski Jump, jonka väritin Distress Markereilla ja stanssasin irti Simon Says Stampin ommelreunastanssilla. Lisäsin leimakuvan lumeen hieman kirkasta Wink of Stellaa ja pöllyäväksi lumeksi laitoin muutaman tipan valkoista enamel accentsia. Taustapaperi on Echo Parkia ja ruskean kartonginpalasen kohokuvioin My Favorite Thingsin Stitched Strip -stanssilla. Koristeina Lawn Fawnin stanssilla stanssattu tähti, jossa Memory Boxin stanssilla leikattu numero, ja tähtinappi. Tekstileima on You Don.

This time I've got a bit more wintery card to show you. Our youngest son turns 4 later this month and I made him this card. The stamped image is 'Ski Jump' by Lili of the Valley and I coloured it with my Distress Markers and die cut out with Simon Says Stamp's 'Stitched Squares' die. I added some clear Wink of Stella to the snow drift and a few drops of white enamel accents to represent flying snow. The background paper is by Echo Park. I dry embossed the strip of brown cardstock with My Favorite Things' 'Stitched Strip' die, and added as embellishments the die cut star (Lawn Fawn) with the die cut number (Memory Box) and a star button with a twine bow. The sentiment says 'Congrats' in Finnish.

Keltainen apina - Yellow monkey

Tein toisenkin synttärikortin meidän perheen pienimmälle (eka on tämä täällä), tämän hänelle antaa isovanhempansa. Leimasin siihen Doodle Factoryn apinan liaaniin roikkumaan ja väritin ProMarkereilla. Stanssasin kehykset Paper Smoochesin Polaroid-setin stanssilla ja embossasin tekstileiman ja lisäilin sydämet. Taustalle Pink Paisleen paperi ja lisäksi Timpan stanssilla stanssattu numero.

Our youngest son turns two this month and I made him a birthday card #2 (you can see the first one here), this will be given to him by his grandparents. I stamped the Doodle Factory monkey hanging on a liana and coloured him with ProMarkers. I framed the stamped image with the die cut Polaroid frame and heat embossed the sentiment (it says 'Congrats' in Finnish). The little hearts are die cut with a Simon Says Stamp die and the number with a Tim Holtz die. The patterned paper is by Pink Paislee.
