I'm Sewing !!!!

I'm having some time out from Scrapbooking (not intentional) I have made a couple of bags recently as i have been inspired by a friend Debbie. She's the queen of bag making .... might call her the Bag Lady from now on but she might not like that !

Above is a Easy Shopper bag,You can find instructions on IACW today. I'll add a picture of my shoulder Bag later. Great thing is I actually use these, Most of my crafts just go in a big box never to be seen again !

My Plate Stand.

I've always wanted to Drill plates for making Cake Stands and what greater time to do it than now with the Royal Wedding coming up this next week !
I bought plates from a Carboot sale for 10p each (i'm going to try Bone China ones next time) The Handle was from a well known Auction site. And heres a plate stand for the measley price of less than £3.00

My little shop is coming together

Here's a few photos of 1/2 a cute little craft shop in Oakley Green Nurseries in Westerleigh, Bristol & it's all mine :) I still have a lot to do yet :(

Twilight crop class

I have taught a class at the Twilight crop on the first Wednesday of every week, 6.30 - 10.30 at Olveston school Nr Bristol. I run it with a few friends.
We were going to just get together once a month then decided it would be great for every crafter to come and join in & a good way to be Inspired & inspire.

Hope you like it ...it was a little bit of a struggle to teach as everyone seemed a little tired & we started the class later !
Keep a look out for Debbie Roberts Altered tin for the next class....i think it might even be Christmas themed. :)

Rag Doll finally finished :)

Here's a little doll I made with a kit I bought. I say I made it but I did have lots of help from Lynne a friend because the instructions were awful & I am not a sewer! still think she needs a mouth. she's got beads in her bottom lol but that gives her a bit of weight. I had to sew a little cotton bag to put them in as we decided they might come out of the felt seams.

A what I called 1 hour project took all day :) But she's cute & my 4 yr old loves her (thankgoodness) :D
