"My DT delight is Pippa.   I too always thought of the red poppies as more sombre a flower and it was refreshing to see the happiness the red poppy provided to Pippa... and the happiness of coloring too... so wonderful!"

"Pippa's Poppy card is wonderful and my choice as a DT Delight as well.  She uses a poppy image (one of my favorites).  She made the card for her SIL.  They have known each other since they were 11.  They are friends AND relatives!  That's a happy relationship!"

My DT delight this time around is Gloria.  All her entries were beautiful but it is something that she said regarding her third entry that really resonated with me.  She stated:

"Happiness can be anything that makes you happy; and the great thing about it is; that you don't have to justify it to anyone."

What a wonderful thought.  There are so many amazing things in this world that can bring about a sense of joy in our lives.  Sometimes though we're embarrassed to admit the silly little things that can make us smile.  We shouldn't though.  As Gloria says, we don't need to justify the things that make us happy.  We simply need to embrace them and make them a part of our life.
