August 2023 Dusty - Attic Design Team Project

Hello Crafty Friends...

Today I am sharing my page using again this photo that is near to my Heart of me and the Girls for Dusty Attic's Design Team Post...

I used two sheets of 49 & Market's Plum Grove - Blossom papers as well as several other items, Coral Stitched Frame, some Ephemera Bits and Plum Grove Laser Cut Elements. From the Vintage Artistry Naturalist Bookplates pack I used three Match Book pages that I distressed, folded and layered to resemble a book. I placed foam tape between the pages, this gave me lovely space to add all my flowers and different bits and pieces. 

This post has a bit of a photo overload, but I just could not choose which photo to keep and which to cut! Hope you do enjoy it nevertheless...









I used clear Gesso on all the Dusty Chipboard pieces to prepare them for adding product on them. The Vintage Frame and Fancy Trim were embossed with Turkish Nights Embossing Glitter from WOW...The  color really suits the colors of the papers.  On the sentiment and the Three little Hearts, I used some Distress Crackle Paint. I also added some random Rub-on on the paper sheets. 

 





























The Swirls, Leaves, Decorative Frame and Ribbon Banner were firstly sprayed with Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Spray from Tim Holtz. When dry, I sprayed some Distressed Spray Stain, also Pumice Stone, on them. The Freeze Frame Mini Caption was colored with White Gold Metallique Wax from Finnabair. 








I am adding these two photos to show the depth of the Book Pages before I added all the elements

Believe in Love - Cards
July 2023 Dusty Attic Design Team Post

Good Day dear Blog friends...

Due to health reasons I have been absent for a while...But today I want to share with you these two cards I made for Dusty Attic using paper from 49 & Market.









I did some Hand stitching on the top of the four layers. I also used a few 49 & Market Rub-on leaves. I made some splatters with diluted gel medium and embossed it with Speckled Egg Distress Embossing Glaze.   

I painted the Dreamcatcher Designer Discs and the Branch and Berries with Cappuccino Paint from Stamperia and embossed them with Vintage Beeswax Baked Texture from Emerald Creek.

The Decorative Panel and Wrought Iron Fence were embossed with Chunky Rust Baked Texture and Steel Embossing Powder from Ranger. 

Some flowers and Old Fashion Ribbons and two sentiments are the final touches to my cards...

~~~ It's Time to be Kind to Yourself ~~~
April 2023 Dusty Attic Design Team Project

Hello Blogfriends...

Today I am back with my Design Team Project for Dusty Attic.
 For this Layout I used papers from Prima's Watercolor Floral Collection. I used two of the same sheets, trimming the top one a little smaller, distressing it and lining up with the bottom one. From the other sheet I cut several strips of paper, distressed them and added Blue and Pink Old Fashion Ribbons to them. I then Handstitched on top of the ribbons. I raised the strips for extra dimension to the page. I also used a stencil and embossing paste on the background, embossed with Lavender Speckle Embossing powder from Ranger. 













On the Dusty Attic Chipboards, Swirly Flourish #2 and the Mystic Frame #2, I embossed them with two layers of white UTEE ( Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel)
Whilst the enamel was still hot, I sprinkled Love Letter Embossing Powder from Ranger and Raspberry Lemonade from Lindy's Stampgang onto it and heat set it again with a Heat gun. The UTEE makes the embossing powders melt and move and results in a gorgeous Marbled effect. 







I embossed the Large Seagrass Chipboard with Ice Age Embossing powder from Cosmic Shimmer. To add a little touch of Bling, I flicked diluted soft gel, on the page dusted with Distress Garland Glitter from Ranger. 
The flowers are from 49 and Market.
